Here is my baby.. I love my Titan!

PC180062.jpg

I finally washed my car and got some decent pictures of it. It's a 3.0L V6 Mitsubishi engine in a 2001 Dodge Stratus coupe. I love it!!

I just converted the gauge backlights to red LEDs, and I added red cathodes under the dash with their own switch to give that cool extra effect after dark. Don't worry though, it is tasteful and installed professionally.

Sold the Altima, and traded in the Vette'.

2007 Audi RS4, pictures taken at the dealership when I bought it :D

You're gonna have to change your user name to RIGHTFOOT :)

Sweet ride!

I would love to get an S6 Avant (or RS6, but thas just crazy talk) to replace my Passat Wagon.

Here are my two cars, 2003 Acura CL Type S with a 6 speed manual (less than 2000 were made) and I've got a good amount of performance mods. Second is my 2003 CRV EX. Enjoy :)

True dat! New Tundra rocks!

Yeah, it does. The 5.7 V8 is powerful. 381 HP and 401 lb of torque. Toyota sure is serious about competing in the full size truck market now. All in all, it is competitive. Tows 10,800 lb. The Silvy/Sierra is 10,500 lb and F-150 is 11,000 lb( although I bet it will scream and kick trying to pull that much with that 300 HP V8 and 365 lb of torque). Styling, IMHO is quite odd. It seems 3 teams designed the truck. One team designed the front end, another did the rear, and the last team did the side. Then they put the truck together and forgot to make the truck look proportional when each profiles are mixed together. It is questionable that Toyota decided to go with the C Frame when the half ton market went fully boxed Frame. I don't think the new Tundra is good enough yet to unseat the Silvy and F-150. But, I bet it will take sales away from the Ram and Titan. Don't get me wrong. The Tundra is competitive to GM's and Ford's offerings, but as their own commericals say, " What makes a work truck beautiful? Guts!" as good as the powertrain is, the frame is questionable. Now the next gen Tundra will be something to be scared at. :) And hopefully Toyota doesn't go on the BS PR stunt of, " We left panel gaps to make it look tough."

VERY nice fj40.
the pickup, is it a taco?

- toyota didn't adopt the name tacoma until 94 or 95, I believe. The 4x2's were always called just "Pick-ups" from the 70's through 94 or 95. 4x4's were classically called Hilux's overseas and from the 70's through today. Although baciscally the same vehicle, 4x4's did not really have an offical name in the states until around 1990, when T-100 was adopted for a few years before switching to Tacoma for both the 4x4 and 4x2 markets.

So no, the pickup is not a "taco"

here's all three toyotas

the new tundra's make the titans VERY sad

Well i had a tundra before my titan which i loved.. I will agree that the new tundras is a very very good truck. But the titan isnt that far off, and after seeing some of the reviews, and looking at the truck my self its all about prefrence. If i were to really tow what the tundra says it can, i would be driving a diesel truck. :D

BTW popular mechanics like the titan better than the tundra!!

Ok, it's not my car, but just a picture of a car I happened to see after a little snowfall.

Winnipeg, MB, Canada :D

Here's one I never posted. It's my 2000 Chrysler Concorde, 106,000 miles; near mint condition. Don't mind the front plate, I know it looks like poop:

Lovely car. Massive, but oh-so-solid, fast, and sleek. People truly don't believe it's going on seven years (and the design itself, over 10).

TRUST ME, I BELIEVE YOU.

Sleek? fast? Solid?

Are you sure you talking about a Chrysler!?!?!?

     :p :p :p

If my memory is correct, the new SRT-8 300c does 0-60 in 4.8 seconds, I'm sure thats pretty fast.

The official figures are 5 seconds. But with sleek and solid I should hope we're not talking about the same car. The 300C is about as sleek as the grand canyon and solid? Well its a Chrysler. Nuff said.

Don't try to argue with americans who buy american cars. It's just not worth it. :p And this advice is coming from a proud American who loves the freedom to buy the best products regardless of where they were made.

With that said, I can't stand Chrysler either. I can't watch tv or read automobile magazines for the US audience because they give cars like the 300C, crossfire and Mustang (ford, but still) such good reviews when they really drive (and look) like crap. It's sad that american car manufacturers have to fall back on retro designs just to sell a decent looking car these days. The only american car that I love is the vette. I wouldn't touch anything else. Every American car that looks decent these days are based off of a european car (like that saturn roadster) or have gone retro. But even then, I don't think they look that nice.

But this is coming from someone who would rather spend money on high performance tires and suspension over 20" rims.

I think the whole point is just that Americans have different values when it comes to cars. Corners are rare in lots of states. There are endless miles of highways and the average american hasn't got the faintest idea of how to drive.
So all american cars (with the exception of the new corvette C6) drive like a sofa, have an automatic gearbox and weigh as much as a jumbo-jet (which saves them in the likely case of them hitting something). Then the only way to make them seem fast is by installing ridiculously huge engines which can't deliver power through the ancient horse-cart like chassis and suspension.

But enough of that! There's plenty of miserable european and asian cars too :D
And.. wait an minute... I drive a Ford too
