Where does Australia fit in?
Anyway, don't bother arguing with the ignorant.
I saw a Cadillac CTS on the road a while back. It must have been a test vehicle for Holden because they're not sold here. I've gotta say that it is one of the most handsome cars I've ever seen. Fantastic styling.
Finally got some pictures of my first car!
Ford Focus 1.8i (1999)
4 cyl. 16 valve, 115 hp
Handling is amazing. It's a good fun car to drive!![]()
You should be seeing Commodores with long ass hoods soon. It is Cadillac's new V12 engine being tested.
Wow! I'll try to keep my eyes peeled for that one. Most of the test vehicles end up in Victoria because that's where the head office and design studios are. We've got the factory here in SA though, so we still get a few mules through.
Yeah, it is really exciting. No one knows what kind of mule it will be in, but that is one possibility. And most likely as I don't think many people will notice a random Commodore with a bit longer hood. Where in the US, a Caddy with a long hood would draw attention like Tom Cruise's weird beliefs. It is said to be two 3.6 V6's sharing the same crankshaft or something like that. Or of course GM could again decide to put it on the backburner. But, so far Lutz has confirmed it is in development. Among other goodies like a 3 valve OHV engine.
PS: We really need to exchange AIM SN's or something. So we don't spam these kind of threads.![]()

Volkswagen-style. Nice, I like it. There are a tonne of morphed Commodores as it is, so another long-hooded one surely won't draw too much attention. Plus, there's a lot of open space for GM guys to just disappear into without getting hassled by the public. I reckon your guess is a pretty well-founded one.
Erik! We're trading cars next time you're up here!If you don't know, I love cars. I got my license not too long ago and I managed to pick up an awesome deal on this.
1998 LR Discovery LSE
88,000 miles
White Gold Exterior
Beige/Tan Interior
6-Disc CD changer
Dual Sunroofs
Front and Rear brush guards
Checked on Wikipedia, and they look the same design wise. Still, the newer uk design looks very nice. I like the ST.Apparently the American ones are pretty dire in comparison, especially the current models.

Not to be nosy, but what is "an awesome deal?" How much?

$6250. Its a 9/10 mechanically (cruise control does not work due to broken vacuum hose- oh well), 10/10 electrically, and a 8.5/10 aesthetically. I saw a similar one go on ebay motors for at least $7800.
I LOVE it. It rides pretty well for a very truck like vehicle. It is vastly underpowered but I can deal with it (TINY 4.0 V8 pushing a 4600lb vehicle). Anyone who wants to take me up on that fight go ahead. Lets just say its 0-60 time is 11.2 seconds- count that out. I love being up high and despite its tall stature, it never feels tippy IMO. I would actually say my sisters grand cherokee feels more tippy. Build quality is excellent. I drove it to school the other day and I got a lot of looks haha.
Nice ride! pretty good deal. Just a broken vacuum hose? that's an easy fix. Hit pepboys or something like that and they'll be able to take care of that easily for you. Just a matter of replacing a little rubber hose.
I wouldn't trust any cars with pepboys, especially a quirky and eccentric british one that they don't know anything about. I've got a few ins with the Land Rover Dealer (friends dad is the manager, another friends dad is a salesman). If they still want a ridiculous amount of money for the fix my parents know a good repair shop.
