How to switch to gestures? Im still on android P

Using P’s gestures still leaves the home ‘pill’ and back button at the bottom. On Q, there is now gesture navigation that mimics the gestures used on the iPhone, straight down to the little, thin bar at the bottom of the screen.

There is no native method of hiding the navigation bar on Android P.

$200 off sale is back again.

Also trade in up to $400 I think I saw.

I just got my OP but deep down I still yearn for that Pixel camera :)

If you decide to go back, I have a Google fabric case in gray that I'll send your way. On me. (I have two through my many purchases of the XL, lol)

There's a 128gb 3XL opened but not used on eBay for £510 buy it now which I was close to buying. But the seller won't answer when it was purchased or if they can provide a receipt. Really feel like getting one but not paying £969!

Much appreciated! I would love to get my hands on one and use the OP and Pixel 3XL extensively for a bit before making my final decision on which to ride with. I am massively enjoying the OP7 though so I am probably just having some FOMO on that Pixel :)

Quick question about Pixels and unlimited full res storage. I know pics taken with the Pixel are free until the end of 2020. Are you able to put pics from your pc onto the Pixel and then upload that for free at full res?

The 3a doesn't even get free original size uploads taken with the device. Only the regular 3 does. Cost cutting!
I'm perfectly happy with my P30 Pro. But I can't stop looking for Pixel 3 XLs! No decent prices in the UK though, they're all full price everywhere.

#FOMO is real! :D

Just left target. Messed with the Pixel again and that camera as much as I could considering target lol

Mesmerized.

They pulled my OP7 out and that screen sang to me. I'm staying put and if anything see what the Pixel 4 brings and hope GCam or whatever works on the OP7

Yeah the Pixel 3 software is probably the most enjoyable Android experience. But having the S10+, it's just so hard to give up all the cool extra features as well as the screen.

Until Google allows end users to save contacts and other info just to the smartphone itself I would avoid it just for that. The Pixel literally forces you to pretty much save everything to their Gmail Cloud server including all contacts, sms messages and calls pretty much are linked to the cloud services. Apple on the other hand gives you options to save to device which in this case is the iPhone itself, backup/sync via iTunes to your computer or if you like or don't care then you have option to back up their iCloud server but it does not force and you and give you no other option to just and only be able to save everything to their cloud server. Props to Apple on that one. The reason Google does give others options for other smartphones aside from Google's Pixel is due to privacy laws abroad as this would not fly selling smartphones in other countries forcing all their end users to save all their contacts and data to Google's cloud servers.

Is it really that big of a deal not saving to the phone itself? Avoiding a smartphone for that reason?

Imagine buying a laptop computer like a MacBook or any other computer and the computer manufacturer forcing you to save all your info on to their cloud server instead of allowing you to save it to the storage device built into your computer. Options are nice these days.

I guess I wouldn't really care either. It's not like if you go into an area with low signal, you suddenly have no contacts.

Do you actually need a signal? I use Google contacts and just put my phone in airplane mode, contacts are still there.
