Surely iPhones can't be that slow to charge? Takes less than 2 hours for me to fully charge a 12.9 iPad with a bigger battery.
Whereas if you've used a Sammy or any modern Android flagship, it's ridiculous how much faster they charge.
There are some things that boggle the mind at how long they've gone on unfixed, especially when companies as big as Google know they're a detriment to their brand & keep potential users away.I haven't sent a text message in ages, and had to send one this morning (I always use WhatsApp). What a pleasant surprise when I opened the messages app!
I LOVE the new overhaul. Looks so much better than before as the old messages app looked terrible.
Wasn't sure where to post really but it's one part of Android P that I'm a big fan of. About time they sorted it out.
Same here. Me and almost everyone I know use Whatapp which is much my data rather than charge me for separately for sending photos or images.I haven't sent a text message in ages, and had to send one this morning (I always use WhatsApp). What a pleasant surprise when I opened the messages app!
Yep, agreed.This article is right:

The Pixel 3 XL proves Google still doesn't know how to make phones for the masses
Inevitably, you have people argue that Google phones aren't for the masses. This is a silly argument. The missteps of the Pixel line can be explained by bad decisions, not because it's trying to target a very specific audience.
The 3 XL is an embarrassing third generation smartphone.
I'm not ready to call the Pixel 3 XL a smartphone embarrassment. The overall user experience is going to hinge on the software side of things. Google could still have plenty of surprises to unveil in October in terms of software, and maybe even a hardware surprise or two. Who knows. A better display alone would be a step above the user experience of the 2 XL for someone like me. If they tackled QC this time around and focused on delivering a well built product, that'll be big in and of itself. I don't know, I mean the front design is 100% ugly, bit it could still turn out to be a very good device overall.
Reveal date confirmed as 9th October.
Pop it in your diaries and bring pitch forks.
I really feel for them. I feel for all of the people who see their hard work get blown to bits by leaks, whether at Google, Apple or Samsung. But I am still going to be a bad girl and look at the leaks.
Because as consumers we’re not always put in a good position by the pressure to place preorders or face really long supply shortages.
Leaks can help us navigate the decision making process and time it to our advantage.
MacRumors before release: This is disappointing because I saw the leaks. It’s ugly and I’m not buying it.
Same group after: So, I have a tracking number and I can’t wait to see it!
It's the same in iPhone threads:
Leaks: It's ugy! And so un-Apple like.
Release date: Amazeballs! Preordered!
I suppose that’s true. At least it gives people a chance to adjust to the looks of these devices. The notch won’t be such a horrible shock when Google opens preorders. Last year they did it during their presentation. That was crazy and was fun. I enjoyed being a part of it.Sadly the leaks don’t help most MR people in this thread who we all know will end up buying it anyway.

They MUST have Panda. All this info leaks except the thing I'm most excited to see: color variants
I have to think they'll expand on the great reception of the panda from last year
I'm curious if they will bring it back. I kind of think they won't, if only for the sake of changing things up, but I hope the all white with turqouise side button isn't this years panda, with the rest being plain. Although it doesn't really matter to me, and my wife loves the turqouise button one. I just want then to do something fun and crazy. They MUST have Panda.
