Must be a bad sensor? Mine has been brilliant! I just installed a screen protector and it worked still, but I deleted all fingers and re-enrolled on my regular 6 as a precaution. I am hoping it still works well in daylight like it did before. So the last few days using my P6 Kinda Coral the FPS has been killing me. I deleted all the finger prints then re-added again and again. But it would take 3 times before it would read my fingerprints.
Today I got my Pixel 6 Pro Stormy Black came in. What a difference in the FPS! Like night and day. The 6 Pro FPS has been rock solid and pretty near perfect.
I initiated a defective device return for the P6 Coral. I think the FPS was defective.
Mind you the devices all work, swapping sims is not resulting in loss of service on my systems, I just lost 2-factor account security for my online att account. Please oh please keep us posted on what you end up doing. My husband said at the time he looked into it a few years ago,T Mobile was also a pain about Sim swapping. Lol we are both a couple of regular Sim swappers as you can imagine, given how many phones we own.
These carriers want us totally dependent on them and at the mercy of contracts keeping us to one phone bought from them on payments. If you break out of that mold as you advance in your earnings, they don't like that. IPhone 6 Plus was the last iPhone I bought from AT&T on contract. My Note 7/S7 Edge was the last Android.
Admittedly, they did take good care of us through that fiasco. But only because the other carriers stepped up first.
Thank you for the warning. I shared it with my husband.
It's a terrible system.
Supposedly it will reset, but the entire process is draconian and totally frustrating. I spent 2 hours on this issue.
