Trying to list my 6 Pro in the Marketplace but I can’t find it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Bestbuy just canceled my order for the regular 6 even though i hit the button to extend my pickup to the 10th. And it was approved and showed the 10th as the date I must pick up by.

I've posted a Pixel 6 case in light rain in the marketplace if anyone is interested before I return it. I know there's a long wait so I figured I'd check here first.

Looks like the same company that made mine.

Only thing I don't like about this style Is the cutout for the camera. Though dust hasn't been a huge issue for me yet.
Oh they say those are not compatible with the fps, which is why I overlooked them. I ended up ordering a zippered pouch, which will also help protect the camera bump when in my handbag.

This fps is among the best authenticators I've used! I still can't believe how well it's working for me. Maybe other methods are faster but this one is very consistent, especially with my thumbs. I know I'm repeating myself but I'm just so relieved! I didn't have quite the same luck with my S21 Ultra' fps. I think I might have a screen protector left for the Ultra I could try on this phone. I don't know if it would fit.

Glad you are loving it so far. I agree on the FPS , the one I had on the S21 ultra sucked but this one I have no issue with

Been using the P6 Pro for a week, here's what I've found (doesnt differ too much from what others have said)...

Hardware: Very good, but not quite Apple or Samsung levels. But definitely the best built Pixel phone so far. Phone feels premium but not overly heavy. Ergonomics are good for a big phone. Curved screen isnt that noticeable in day to day use. Overall I'm happy with it.

Display: Really good. Everything is crisp, colors are accurate, and 120hz works pretty flawlessly outside of a few problematic apps. Not quite Apple or Samsung levels, but again close enough.

Haptics: Best on any android phone Ive used by some margin. Not iPhone levels, but really, really good.

Fingerprint Scanner: The biggest letdown of the phone. It's passable, but thats about out. Works less of the time than the S21 scanner, is slower, works in less situations, lights up the screen bright as hell at night, etc. etc. etc. Its not good. Not sure what Google were thinking here. Its worse than the ones I used on a OnePlus like 3 or 4 years ago. Hopefully software updates improve this. Tip - Remove your fingerprints, turn on increased screen sensitivity, and re-register your fingerprints pressing lightly. Definitely helped.

Software: Comes down to personal preference, but I think its the best version of any OS on any phone. It comes with the features you need without too much clutter. Everything feels well thought out and cohesive. Assistant and smart AI choices are baked in everywhere. This is where the Pixel shines.

Camera (Photos): Awesome, as was expected. Maintains the signature Pixel look but now with more detail. Zoom works really good. Ultrawide is average but no ultrawides are very good IMO. It loses out to Samsung in zoomed photos and is probably less consistent than iPhone photos, but its good pictures blow both those out of the water. Also, if you have kids this camera destroys the other two. Its almost impossible to take photos where faces are blurry no matter how much they are moving. Its incredible.

Camera (Video): Takes a big step forward from previous Pixels, but still is behind Samsung and Apple. That goes to show just how bad Pixel video was before. Now, its good enough, but not great. High quality video is limited to main camera and while you are taking the video the video looks awful. It isnt until you stop the recording and the processing does its thing that you actually get decent quality.

Speakers: Really good but definitely weighted to the bottom speaker enough to be noticeable.

Battery: At first I thought this was going to be a problem. But adaptive battery on android is no joke. Every day it gets better and better. Definitely an all-day phone.

Overall: IMO this is still a Pixel phone. You still get this phone for the software and the camera. The plus this year is you dont have to sacrifice everywhere else to get those things. It still lacks behind the top Samsung and Apple devices in a lot of areas, but if you want a cheaper flagship phone or just want a great camera and Pixel software, its a no brainer. Google were very smart to undercut Samsung and Apple, because at the same price the cracks start to show. But at a cheaper value it makes them acceptable. Also, for the $300 in savings, I would probably get the regular Pixel 6. That phone blows away everything else at that price.

Yea, for some reason they have a rule that you have to have 200 or 250 posts to access the marketplace even if you've been a member for a long time but just don't live on the forums. Kinda silly, but it's not my house so I don't make the rules. Give Swappa a try if you are looking to list your 6 Pro. I've sold many phones there and its always an easy transaction.

I've noticed the range is not that great with these. I do like that they pair nicely with the phone for productivity but I might go back to my Samsung buds in a week or so. But I want to give these a run sound wise they're okay to me. Nothing crazy
Definitely like the sound and range of my Buds Pro better. However these Pixel Buds are more comfortable to me and love how well integrated they are with the Pixel. I'll probably just stick to carrying the PB's around when I'm using my 6 Pro and the Galaxy Buds Pro when using the Z Fold 3.

Okay, that’s why I can’t get it to work. I’ve been a member since Feb 2010 but rarely post, so I didn’t reach the minimum post threshold.
Thanks!

For the first time ever on an Android phone, I am getting all of my notifications on time and I am finally getting all Twitter notifications. Could this be because of Tensor?

Maybe. Could also be that you havent had the phone long enough for Android to start deep sleeping apps.

I don't think that's it because no matter the Android phone, the notification issue began on the first day, even with battery optimization and saver off.

Good idea I'm thinking same thing ...

I love this phone. I wish I weren't so reliant on iMessage and my Apple Watch.
I've about completely broken away from my Apple Watch. While there are areas the apple watch is still best, the Galaxy Watch 4 is a great watch for the Android side. Doesn't hurt that I like the style better as well.

iMessage though, that's the one thing that its near impossible for me to break free from. With my kids and wife having iPhones I always find myself carrying my iPhone with me as well. There are definitely things I still like about the iPhone but I could very easily make the P6 Pro and Z Fold 3 my only devices if it weren't for iMessage.

My Pixel 6 will be here today and I have a couple of questions that maybe someone can answer.

1. When should I turn off imessage to ensure that I will still get text messages from other iphone users? Will it affect group conversations as well?
2. When I install Whatsapp on my Pixel, will I be able to restore the conversations from my iphone?

Thanks

1. I turn off iMessage and Facetime right before I swap my SIM card and usually have no issues.
2. Not sure of whatsapp as I've never used it. I think there is a chat backup setting and you should be able to restore on your new device.

For the iPhone to Android switch of WhatsApp - on the iPhone there's an option now which you can go through if you want to transfer your chats to Android.

I think you have to connect the two phones with a cable and then scan a code and then the transfer begins but I've not done it myself. It's a new feature but I definitely saw it when I went to back up my chats recently.
