Likewise. I've had my Pixel 6 Pro since launch, and overall it's very probably the best phone I've ever had. Besides a few bugs a couple of weeks ago which are now fixed, no issues, not even with the FPS, which as above works 99.9% of the time (and even works for the most part when my hands are wet!).

Features like call screening and voice type are simply incredible: slick tech, but most importantly useful and great productivity tools. For these reasons and others, I feel there is a lot of "added value" on this phone.

The combination of strong hardware, beautiful Android 12, and Google's world-leading (and USEFUL) application of AI (which, really, is 5+ years ahead of Apple's), make this phone a winner. 👍

Mine 6 Pro is as good as any Android I’ve ever had. Of I’ve only been a member of the club for about 5 years now but this phone and my P30 were as good as any phones I‘ve ever used. Even my FP scanner is 99.99 percent accurate. Sure the inefficient and dated Samsung (mainly 5G) modem is a buzzkill but otherwise I couldn’t be more happy.

My conscience is clean and I sleep very well at night defending this phone. It’s been a pleasure being my first Pixel.
Don't feed the troll. 😜.
He just finds articles to post and cry and then leaves. It's quite funny.

Just chiming in to say that I recently purchased a 6 Pro and I mostly love it. My only gripe is the inconsistent fingerprint reader, it seems to have a mind of its own despite doing all the 'fixes' to improve its accuracy. I'm hoping 12L fixes the fingerprint reader. Really loving the design and feel of the phone, everything is just soooooo smooth. Love the way it feels (both physically and software), the phone is a delight to use.

Nice congrats it really is a great phone I only suggestion for the fingerprint scanner which I haven't had a issue with from the beginning is to register it slowly and not try to lift the finger off of it too fast when you're opening up the phone if you just learn to stay on it for a little bit longer I feel like that helps a little bit at the same time I'm always working indoors so my hands are not so bad for it to read..

I've been really chuffed with my Pixel as per my previous posts about it, but recently I've noticed some serious battery drain out of nowhere.
I don't have any new apps installed that could be the culprit, and my phone habits are the same as ever, but the battery is definitely NOT lasting as long as it used to.

Early into ownership, I used to easily be ending the day with 40% plus. Today, it just died at 7pm.

Very strange, no rhyme or reason as to why. I've powered it down and back on as I really don't reset my phone as much as I should. See if that helps.

Keep us posted. I'm having a bit of fast drain on ALL of my 5G phones. It's frustrating. I know it's because I'm in a terrible service area. Did you travel through a bad service region recently?

I believe I am noticing the same thing with my Pixel 6 Pro. When I look at my battery usage I see an app which I may have used for a few minutes shows ten hours or more of use.

Edit: I just noiced your last paragraph. I try to restart my Android phones every time I recharge them. So I know that isn’t a problem for me at least.

No, all being used on WiFi at home. It's strange. I've also knocked 5g off, as I'm not in a 5g area and I know 5g capable phones search for the network which can drain battery.

I'm in the office today on 4g and haven't used my phone that much and it's on 91% which is more like it.

I don't even have a sim in my new 6 Pro and for some reason it's dropping fast lately. It's a WiFi only device for the time being and dropping 25%+ per day of little to no use, in my home on WiFi.

For whatever reason Pixel phones have been famous for poor battery life, except the cheaper "a" line, those get incredible battery life.

Google just needs to throw in larger batteries, and that's it. The Pixel 6 Pro should have like a 5,500mAh battery

So, how’s 12 L treating everyone? Better? Worse? I ask, because I had a Pixel 6 on the January update and it was … lackluster.

Dumb question - it's not out for the 6 and 6 Pro. I guess it can still apply to those who have been running the beta.

Anyone using the new Pixel Stand? How do you like it?

I am likely picking up two today here locally. Getting a good deal on them. If you end up wanting one, PM me and I’ll let you know if I grabbed them. (For everyone else’s knowledge, this is not a solicitation. Noob and I are in a running competition to see who can sell more items to each other. I think both our bank accounts are losing)

Lol.
I like my Pixel stand, but in hindsight was it an essential purchase? Nope.

Maybe if I used it on a desk it might be better during the day, but as it is I just sit the phone on the stand and leave it until the next morning. I probably could have got a similar function from another cheaper stand.

The fans are sometimes a little off putting too!

I like my Pixel Stand just fine. I use it at my office. At home I use a Belkin Magsafe 3 in 1 charger on the nightstand. Charges my 13PM, Apple Watch, and whichever Android device I'm using all at the same time.
