That was one of the payment options but the newly added card payment finally went through first.
Crazy that I placed an order an hour ago and it said Dec delivery. Then I placed an order 5 minutes ago and its coming next week. Total cluster****. Lost out on the Pixel Buds deal because it said my limit was reached, presumably from the previous order that I canceled. Oh well. Didnt need them. Maybe I can get Google to give me a store credit.
My husband canceled the 128 GB and snagged another 256 GB. So two 256 GB Stormies! Good. Let’s hope these orders stick. He kept trying to get me a white one and those kept going out of stock and I kept saying “Dude I don’t care about the color just get me 256 gb please.” One of them comes November 6th. Ironically it’s the one ordered last. Go figure. I really still don’t know what color of the Pros I like the best. I guess white looks good in their pale cases but I like black trim. I was sad to cancel my sage green order that I placed just out of curiosity. It was gorgeous. So so gorgeous. But again, I wanted the zoom.
And I managed to get my chicken prepped and in the oven. Now I have to go pick up a kid and come back and make my veggie dish.
I can’t believe I spent almost all of my day on this.

I think that limit has to do with their stock. The white ones kept throwing that message after awhile even when I had no active orders in their system. They just ran out of all of them I guess.
Ha, ha. I’m returning my Apple Watch series 7 today at Apple store, since I’m buying the Pixel. I don’t want to spend too much money.Pixel 6 regular ordered in green. €649 + a free pair of Bose 700 headphones worth €399 which will promptly be sold on to offset the price(Gotta pay for the 16" M1 Pro MBP & Apple Watch Series 7 too eek!).
I hope the Pixel works with my Samsung active watch.
That was more painful than preordering Steam Deck which took an hour but not nearly as bad as Nvidia Founder Edition GPUs.
So weird that I was able to get the 6 pro cloudy white just a few minutes ago for launch yet it's now showing out of stock completely. Google's order system is a bit messed up.
So when you choose PayPal at Google checkout, does it take you to PayPal site to finish the checkout (and choose PayPal credit option)?
I already had it linked to my Google account ahead of time in the Payments section of the settings/options so I just chose PayPal at checkout and one click to order.
That’s what probably happened to me. It showed white & black sold out. Only showed yellow 128GB.
Okay! Cancelled the yellow one, and was just able to get black 256GB with same shipping date. Ya!!!!

So let's keep it in mind.. SLEEP in late miss the event.. Hit the forums and Reddit and amuse yourself.. Make an early evening cocktail or early morning bloody Mary... Then order what ya want and come back here like the cat that ate the canary and ask “Did y'all have issues with ordering? I ordered in 5 minutes no issues "
On reflection, maybe not having 256gb in the colour I wanted did me a favour. I know I can easily manage on 128gb, so saved myself some money.
Bought the white from the Google store and also picked up the light frost case & 30w charger. Nice & steady, PayPal Credit and delivery on the 26th.
All those going nuts and threatening to boycott Google. 😂

I was, lol. I cancelled my order but was still trying to find a Pixel 6 for my wife since she loves the camera. But when I saw people were still getting orders for next week, I threw a Pro on there for myself.
I talk a big game, but I want to try this damn phone.
I'm a pretty calm person, I swear lol, but I was heated today. As someone who works in a technical field as a consultant, sometimes this stuff just blows my mind at how bad these big companies are at things.
That and I hate my time being wasted. But I told my wife I would snag her one of these so I had to keep at it.
I totally get it, haha. I just hope these phones are worth all the hassle!
Hey no judgment from me. I ordered a green one just for the satisfaction of having an order go through! And the satisfaction of canceling for myself instead of being canceled. Because I am exactly that petty! And because it really was fun to spec it out and order it. If we couldn’t have gotten the Stormy Pro I am sure I would have had fun with it. The Pixel 2 amused me for years. Even up to last year.
I ended up just going outside for a while I know right?! Looks like some orders tentatively went through. I haven't checked back yet. At this point I'd be surprised to see any more available until after the major holidays.
Judging by the comedy of errors that is Google's preorder fiasco, I'm glad I didn't have it on my wish list. Ugh.

Finally was able to easily place an order a few hours after the event. Pixel 6 Pro Cloudy White due in Oct 29 - 30. I hope I didn't make a mistake getting the Pro? I'm not a fan of curved edge displays. And it is a BIG phone. But I really wanted 120hz refresh rate and bright top quality screen. Those chunky thick bezels on the regular 6 sort of turned me off, but hope I don't hate the Pro's rounded edge, but 90hz I already have on my Pixel 4 XL, want to try something new and fresh.

The 6.4-inch 1080p panel on the Pixel 6 is good, offering enough brightness and solid overall colors, but the QHD+ display on the 6.7-inch Pro is truly stunning. Speaking completely anecdotally and with barely 24 hours of use, I can say confidently this is the best display on a Pixel to date by a long shot, and it feels in line with what Samsung is putting out there. The 120Hz refresh rate on the Pixel 6 Pro is quick and super smooth.
The Pro model has polished aluminum rails around the sides and curved glass on the front. The standard Pixel 6 has a flat display with bigger bezels and a matte black finish on the sides. Especially after using both phones in person, I’m a much bigger fan of the look of the Pixel 6 over the Pro model. It feels nicer in the hand, and curved displays remain the worst trend in mobile tech, and I’m beyond disappointed that Google has joined the wrong camp with its Pro model.

OK So I pre-ordered a 128 GB Sorta Sunny Pixel 6 Pro from Target. No promotions but I did get my 5% off for my Target card.
I really wanted a 256 GB. But they aren't offering that in Sorta Sunny yet as far as I can tell.
Now to find a case and screen protector.
And of course, Speck being Speck isn't offering any cases for the Google Pixel 6.
