I ordered as soon as it would let me and I have a 11/19 delivery. I checked now and the same version shows 10/28. I have to think it updates and I get sooner. I don’t want to cancel unnecessarily, but also don’t want to have to wait longer than I should.
I had a Nov delivery date as well for the P6 Sorta Sunny. Canceled it and re-ordered and got 10/28 delivery.
The more videos that I watch, the more I favour the smaller Pixel 6.
I love the flat edges, and I really dig the Sorta Seafoam colour.
But I wanted the Pixel for its camera experience above all else, and I know I will regret not having the telephoto if I went for the smaller model. So sticking with my 6 Pro.
Tempted to do a Jamezr and order both, but I know once I hold both and use both I will favour the flatter, smaller Pixel 6, which a lot of people are saying is just like the Pixel 4 XL in feel.
Now we wait for delivery haha.

I ordered stress free, guess Pixel’s aren’t as in demand in Ireland. Delivery for 27-28th October.
I am still trying to get my head around Google promotions. Surely it would be less expensive for google to include a pair of pixel buds A at €99 retail value than partner with BOSE (owned by Apple) and throw in a pair of Bose 700’s at €399. It’s great for early adopters but I would have bought anyway.

That order was for the regular Pixel not the Pro. So no buds promo
It let me place another order and the promo was still there. I cancelled the first order after. Back in business!

I used my "Pixel" money to buy a new lens for my Canon R5. No Phone touches the images of that camera so gonna wait out the initial release, limp with my 3 for a month or 2 before I make my next decision on an android device.
If Samsung is truly doing 4+ years of updates with some of their models, I may go that route this year, despite my not really liking that company. I hate unnecessary E-Waste even more.

Strange how Google let's you apply for the Bose headphones in the UK 14 days after placing your order. That means you can get accepted for the free headphones while you're within your returns period. I got them last year for the 4a 5G I returned. lol
Like a lot on here I imagine, I spent most of the event messing around on the Google store. So I'm not sure if they said what kind of fingerprint sensor they have.

It looks strange, seeing stock android on hardware like the 6 Pro.
It almost looks like someone has downloaded Lawnchair launcher on a Samsung device lol.
Some of the YouTube reviewers have had cases sent to them. I don’t mind the clear one too much, although it does look to be frosted. I think I’ll try and get a crystal one from Amazon.

Agreed. I LOVE flat screen phones, and that Seafoam green color is just super cool. I'm afraid I made the wrong decision getting the Pro.
But I did want 120hz refresh rate to really have something new and fast, and the screen quality too is said to just be of a higher quality and nicer display than the regular Pixel 6.
But worst case, i just saw that T-Mobile, my carrier will have the Pixel 6 line, and as of right now is shipping Oct. 27th, I might just wait to see that in person at the store, and if I love it, just pay cash in full at the store for one, it's only $599.
Yeah I know what you mean. For me, I know I will prefer the design of the Pixel 6 but I really do use telephoto lenses a lot when I have them. My dog is always doing something funny in the garden or out on a walk and this Z Flip 3 has a trash zoom (no telephoto) so I miss a lot of shots of her.
I never use ultra wide, so hate that it seems to be the favoured second lens these days.
I may still end up trying both just to see, as Google's software zoom looks like it has been improved further but I still don't think you can replace a telephoto.
I just know I'll prefer the design over the Pro.

Well I hope we all get our Pixels. I am here waiting in a parking lot for a kid. Possibly several kids if I need to give last minute rides as often happens.
I got to watch some unboxing videos. Stormy is awesome! I mean they’re all awesome but I’m happy with it. I did not see anything that made me think “Oh darn I wish I could have gotten white or gold”. At the same time I didn’t see anything about the white one that would have made me regret that one if that had been the one I ended up with.
I haven’t yet seen a gold one unboxed.
I wish I could have ordered my phone on my Google One account. Both orders are on my husband’s. I didn’t want to have to wait for the release of my trade on the canceled order. That takes time that apparently couldn’t be spared in this process.
Once my 512 GB order got canceled I didn’t see any more ever come up.
lol ok as I was typing that the kids arrived. I dropped them off. I’m finishing up making dinner. Waiting for veggies to stew. My husband told me he canceled his order and placed a new one and this time he got an October 28 delivery date instead of November 28! Sheesh!

I ordered the 6 Pro and then I watched a YT video and saw the curved screen and I cancelled my order. I don't like curved screens. I may order a Pixel 6 since that has a flat screen.

Maybe, just maybe they are being nice to long standing google account holders, pixel owners, who tried, failed, gave up temporarily and tried again. Either way. I am looking forward to having a patched Android phone for at least another 3 years.

Is the telephoto and front camera the only difference between the two on the camera? I don’t use a front camera so no big deal there

I think the regular 6 will be easier to obtain. Why not keep your Pro order, trial it and return it if not for you. I think you'll have more luck returning it and nabbing a 6 than maybe getting a 6 and wanting a Pro later on.

I ended up buying too much tech this year and can't justify the Pro for my needs, and honestly like smaller phones. Kinda looking forward to playing around with my underdog phone and be envious of you folks who took the bigger plunge!!

Having the Samsung S21 Ultra I really don’t think the curve is annoying. I prefer flat. It makes getting screen protectors easier. But it’s not such a huge deal for me that I’d forgo zoom in exchange.
Also I have a major migraine brewing after using all of my iPhones together today. I had different screens open on different things. I definitely can’t be doing that anymore. I hope the Pro display is compatible to my vision along with my 13 Pro display
