I think their consistency is what impresses me the most. Moved from Friday. Not a biggie, but hoping to get for the weekend!
Mine has been sitting in Chicagoland distribution center ALL DAY, it has not left the premise of the hub. I now do not believe (even though it would be simple) that I will get mine on the 29th either.

I mean FedEx, Why meet or exceed expectations when you can be overall underwhelming and disappointing.. UPS isn't Perfect either, but there is a reason I never ship FedSux.

Ok, so I've had it for half a day and I've started to notice a couple of issues...

- Fingerprint sensor sucks. It just does. It's consistent a second or two slower than the S21 Ultra and way slower than the Pixel 5. It takes a second to light up and another second to read and then the transition animation is slow. This is a bummer since it's the only form of biometric authentication. I'm hoping a software update can improve it.

- Tensor seems like it doesn't know how to handle the adaptive refresh for some apps. Twitter scrolling can be especially choppy at times. It isn't lag, it's like the screen doesn't know to ramp up the refresh so it's staying at 60hz.

- Battery seems to be draining a little fast, but I have been hammering it with app installs and logins so don't judge this one yet.

Otherwise, the phone feels great. Snappy performance, android 12 is awesome, and phone feels good in hand. The above notes are my only complaints. FP sensor being by far the biggest negative.

I've seen video review where they say twitter, specifically, is an issue. Hopefully that's their app that needs a fix.

I think what makes it worse is that it doesn't active when the screen is off. With the S21 Ultra, as long as I hit the right area with the screen off it would activate. P6 fingerprint reader only works when the screen is on.

But even then, it's just slower. I've tested both side by side. It's noticeable.
Different technologies are being used. No surprise there.

Battery life and inconsistent photo quality as he said some would be a 10 and then he’d get a lot of 7’s, where the iPhone is always a 9. He feels the post processing is overdoing it and no longer needs to as the sensors are much improved.

He mentioned off axis screen shifting on the 6 pro as a minor issue, but was pretty positive about the screen.

Surprisingly enough, he was fairly positive about the video.

He did say these were his favorite Pixels ever. I got the feeling he wanted to love these, but instead, he thinks they have a great personality, but there wasn’t a spark, it’s not you, it’s me… wait, wut?! Kidding aside, I think he hoped for a bit more.
This is due to the amount of hype this phone had, which is Google's fault. It's impossible to meet all of the expectations people had for this phone, but you are talking about new camera sensors and new custom chip.

This is a 9/10 phone that people were expecting to be a 10/10 so they were disappointed.

Well..TMobile pushed back my order ( stormy white Pro ) from tomorrow's delivery to 11/12-11/18 ..fml !

Ok guessing an update will come fairly soon to fix it. I'm not worried. All the things I mentioned that were negatives I expect to improve in the next few updates.

I’m considering returning my 6 Pro for an S21 Ultra. I like the pics I’ve seen better from the s21 and the extra battery life and I think there will be enough demand on swappa to cover the difference in cost.

I agree Twitter seems to be a little janky ...and Instagram is not scrolling my usual self ...

I got to try both at a Best Buy store earlier today. Pixel 6 > Pixel 6 Pro. I didn't like the curved edges of the 6 Pro. Distorts the light on the edge of the screen.

This is a deal breaker for me. I’m tired of the shadowy curves edges. The S21 Ultra doesn’t suffer from this. This is something we dealt with when we first had curved screens.

Happy almost Thanksgiving? I wonder when my stormy black pro will ship. It still says shipping and arriving tomorrow LOL

I'm switching from a Samsung S8 to the pro... hoping it's not all that of a switch re: curve

I have both side by side and the screens look pretty much identical. S21 Ultra has advantages but that's not one.

Twitter has been GARBAGE on my Pixel 3 since the 12 upgrade. I doubt the issues you are having are anything to do with the 6.

It takes me 2 - 3 times to post a tweet, and anything with an image, forget it!
This is my first time with 12 so makes sense since my Samsung's are perfect

Setting mine up now. Couple of quick pics at a friend's livestock barn

Interesting, I haven't seen any comparisons with the s21 but now I want to see. I bet the s21 ultra is much cheaper now

It's not. One of the reasons I went with the 6 pro. With my trade in, the price difference was appx $500-600

So my TMobile 6 Pro order has been pushed back to 11/12. So messing around with the regular P6 Kinda Coral. For some reason it feels so small!! Can't wait for the 6 Pro

MKBHD specifically calls out the screen quality and says it’s not as good as the other flagships in his review.

Got my Pixel 6 Pro today. This is my first phone with a curved screen and I was concerned I would hate it. But after using it half the day I am loving it. The screen is beautiful and does not bother me one bit. I was so concerned originally that I went ahead and pre-ordered a Pixel 6 from Best Buy. I have since canceled that order. I must also say I am impressed with the camera. Before I got the phone I watched several videos of it being compared with the iPhone 13 Pro and several reviewers were not that impressed which lead me to think it was not much of an upgrade. But my opinion has changed after using it. They are so close most of the time it would be hard for me to say which one is truly better. Both phones are impressive as far as taking photos. Video is still not on par with iPhones but I never take video so this does not bother me and Google is definitely closing the gap here.

Someone here mentioned the fingerprint scanner sucked. I do not share that opinion. Its fast for me. Unlocks immediately. Overall I am impressed. This could be the first Android phone to make my iPhone take a back seat. I will have to use it more first but so far I could not be happier with my purchase and I am loving Android 12.

When was it supposed to ship? My 6 pro t-mobile hasn't been updated yet.
