Part two of my Google Store order with the 30W USB-C & Golden Glow Pro case was dispatched pretty late this afternoon at 17:19 for delivery tomorrow with Stormy Black Pro case due in November.

At least these will deliver the same day at my 6 Pro!

I’ve also got a new MacBook Pro ordered via a mate in New York, he’s bringing that over to me in the UK next week! 2021 has been an expensive tech year!

Really great hands-on video, these are exactly the kind I personally prefer to see from us genuine users! Thanks for doing this for us Pixel fans in the community.

In my view, the 6 Pro fingerprint sensor is incredibly quick with always on display in your test. I’m actually surprised just how fast this is compared to the YouTubers first impressions on the sensor, I guess they were using the fingerprint as standard etc.

Also, the screen looks lush, really bright and punchy, I don’t think I’m going to notice any difference between my 6 Pro brightness vs my 13 Pro Max.

Roll on tomorrow for the delivery of my Stormy Black Pro 6!

Between my phone fetish, (lol) recent Switch OLED, and 2021 iMac PLUS Christmas coming up… my wallet is upset haha.
Having said that though, my OLED Switch and iMac are both incredible, so if the Pixel makes it 3/3 I won’t feel as bad.

Yeah I don't find a bad at all so far I mean I've hit this thing from different angles everywhere.. I just turned on that setting for the sensitivity as well seems to be even better or maybe it's placebo effect LOL I'm looking forward to everyone having their phones and getting more impressions...

So I get a notification that my Pixel has a shipping label and is ready to be picked up at 8AM this morning in the town of Carol Stream IL. That is about a 6 hour drive from my house.. So far, it hasn't moved, and is still estimated to arrive at my door on the 29th.

I see ZERO reason I shouldn't get this phone on Friday. FedEX, don't be silly, get some work done today please!

Even through setup, where phones will typically hitch due to all the apps being installed, the 6 Pro has been buttery smooth the entire time.

Looking at my order form, there is the charge for $99 for the buds but they off set it with a $99 credit on the phone. Probably for accounting purposes on their part. Doesn't matter to me either way as long as it balances out in the end.

It is not. The fingerprint sensor is...passable. Its not as fast as the ultrasonic on the S21 Ultra but the haptics make it feel more satisfying if that makes sense. There a little delay the optical sensor needs to light up the screen that the S21 Ultra doesnt need. If you're coming from the S21, this sensor will be a bit of a downgrade IMO.

For my finger, the optical fingerprint on the Galaxy Tab S7+ is a little quicker and a bit higher hit rate than the ultrasonic on Galaxy S21 Ultra. Reality is they're so close it's nitpicking.

Mine still says November 16th but theres an authorization on my card, guess they run the card on order to make sure all is ok then it drops off after a few days hope its a sign they are shipping early

As did I, but mine is a base spec 6 versus your nicer Pro. I think I lucked out due to mine (perhaps the green hue too) being a far less popular phone this year.

Still looking forward to it. Be nice to splash some color in my life. I have only ever had Grey, black or white slabs in my phone life (outside of cases).

I love that sea-foam color combo, looks amazing, probably the best looking of the entire new Pixel 6 lineup. Wish that color was available on the 6 Pro.

I think he definitely thinks it’s the better value, but he used the Pro almost extensively and I’d bet he’d pick the pro all day. I say try the Pro first as you’re used to the large, higher refresh screens and bet you’ll like it.

Biggest surprise to me was his 3-4 hours of screen time on these phones. That is not very good.

Yikes at the battery life. I think we all were under the impression that with Google making their own chip, they could work their magic like Apple. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. That battery life on the Pro is pretty terrible for a 5000 battery.

He highly recommended the 6 over the 6 Pro. Basically, that $300 price difference isn’t really worth it, IHO.
