FWIW I never got a tracking number from Apple for my 13 Pro until the phone was a day away from delivery. I didn’t even see a status change on my order even though I know UPS had a shipping label (whose tracking number they wouldn’t release to me) for several days. My husband usually has that happen to his orders, too. So it’s not just Google that has a weird shipping notification system.
Is this via FedEx or UPS? Because the front page of this site has news that UPS mechanical problems of some kind are causing delays in shipments of MacBooks and other consumer goods from China.
I am still tempted to order a normal 6 and compare them both myself. If I do it today, I’ll be able to claim two pairs of headphones which even if I only sold on for £200 each, (they’re worth £349) I’d almost have recouped the funds for the 6!
Im still quite torn but really really want the telephoto and better feeling haptics. But not being able to use a good screen protector gives me anxiety. Unless a company ends up making a decent one for the Pro.

My screen protector and case arrived for my Pixel 6 this morning and it hasn't been working out too well for me so far.
The in screen fingerprint scanner success rate has taken a hit with the screen protector fitted, I'll be honest it's taken the shine off an otherwise decent smartphone.
I'll give it a bit more time and see if things improve.
My Pixel 6 is scheduled for delivery between Nov 5th and 6th. This morning I received an email saying I got charged for the phone so it looks like I should get it by next Friday. 
I saw somewhere on Reddit a member installed the Spigen and it would not work registering fingerprints as I stated on Android Central this is the one thing has me bummed I don't know if I software update will help but it looks to be last-gen scanner from early reviews and impressions

Mine is supposedly shipping now, but no tracking information is available. I did get billed for my 1st preferred care payment though, so it will be protected wherever it is
FedEx states delayed till 11/02, unless that can change?

Back to 2nd of Nov delivery for me after it moved to the 9th yesterday! Google clearly all over the place 
My TMO order says the same thing. I called them and they told me the same thing on the phone.
I asked her "How can it ship and arrive on the same day". She said all they can do is go by what it says in their software. Oh well...
I think i read you can increase the speed and accuracy of the FPS by having Always on Display turned on.

Honestly I’ve had the same woes with my Samsung ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The sensor works fine. But it’s hard to keep the film protector pristine enough to work with the scanner. If I weren’t trying to protect the trade in value I’d remove the film. But the way I use my Samsung, entering the four digit code to unlock is fine. I just really find it difficult to do much of anything that I need to authenticate biometrically. Ever since I changed most of my passwords to long complicated ones it’s been a bit of a challenge if my fingerprint isn’t recognized right away.
I've always just used the pattern unlock myself.
My husband says his is now due on the 29th instead of the 28th. Mine shipped yesterday so I guess it’s on track for early November delivery.
