Dialed 911 on the 7 Pro at my local Verizon store and it didn’t connect. Even the Verizon employees were puzzled because it shouldn’t be blocked.

I went and checked out the new toys at Best Buy today as well and was shocked at how tiny the Pixel Watch was when I put it next to my  watch. I think it’s way too small.
Yes definitely too small and I have a small wrist ..Google rep wanted some of my thoughts on phones and features ..along with the watch ..I mentioned the size first thing haha

will likely pick up a 7 pro obsidian in a couple months after photo samples and once the graphene update is out for it

meanwhile, this is from a 7 Pro. the colors and contrast look BRILLIANT as I've come to expect from Pixel in well lit outdoor shots like this. Can't wait for a ton more samples. this image has so much 'pop' factor, so much depth

I think so. I pretty have to jog my memory. Yes probably AW and iPhone will do that too.

I guess competition will be whether Pixel watch will be reliable. I don't put high hope but let's see.
For call making, there may be some issue. Whether call screening can bring to Pixel watch is a burning question for me now.

Speaking of call screening, Apple is purely lack of call screening so with dinosaur AI tech, I can say Apple is more reliable but lack functionality
That is precisely what keeps me from buying an iPhone. My spam and robocalls calls have dropped to almost zero whereas prior to that I was getting 200-250 per month on my business line. The other thing that keeps me from buying an iPhone is pretty much everyone has an iPhone. I like to be different, haha. :p

I think I may sit out this year. If anyone is looking for a P6 to trade in, let me know. With that said, I’ll be swinging by Best Buy later and may change my mind. Lol.

I hope they have the Watch out.
If you decide not to go P7P ..do the trade in and collect gift card ..then sell P7 ...I like that plan better than selling P6P

So this is what I’m considering as I have a Pixel 6 (regular) that I bought as a back up phone for £300 last December. It did me solid when the Pro had its pixelated screen repaired a few months back.

I smashed the top right corner of the screen on it, but google will offer me £150 trade in for it against a Pixel 7. That would include free ear buds, plus £60 back in google credit. I’m considering just doing it, getting rid of the broken 6, selling the 7 and keeping the buds and then I’d have £150 store credit adding in the 7 Pro credit.

Edit - so essentially the 6 would cost £400 and that’s before I minus off the cost of the buds at £180. I’d like to think I’d get more than £220 back for the 7 if I sold it.

I didn’t realize BB had 480 in trade which is more than I saw with google. (I recall 440). So, I just ordered a P7 in snow. If I can resist opening, I’ll sell it and keep the gift card. If not, that’s a smoking deal!

Thanks for the recommendation!

Are these good cases:

Ugh ... I guess I should have just got black.

Since I'm not a fan of black phones any old case will do. But now that I ordered the lemongrass, I think it looks pretty damn awesome and I'm fretting over what case to get and right now they're a limited selection.

Think I just get a clear one that others have posted and then wait for others to come out. But I want something with decent protection as I don't have an office job.

This is the only case I’ve seen that I like so far

£16.99

Has anybody actually bought official cases? I never see people talking about them or buying them

You definitely have to show off that color ...

Otterbox has a clear case too ..Symmetry ..but I've not tried a clear one from them ..

A few of my regular brands on prior phones ..

Spigen Hybrid is a good case

Rinke Fusion

Crave

Spigen Hybrid has been a case I've used on many phones ...I like the case though sometimes a few fingerprints will show but I'm OCD with wiping it down ..

Nice what’s the brand ?
The brand is "Encased", and I ordered it from Amazon. I believe it was around C$16. I use a similar type of case with my iPhone 13 PM and like using a magnetic wallet when popping out for something quickly, taking say just my driver's licence and debit card with me and no bulky wallet.

I read, one of the cool things about the GW is that you can pair it to your phone and i'm assuming it needs to be a Pixel. Once the watch and the phone are paired, you can leave your phone at home and the watch becomes your phone. You'll be able to receive and make phone calls and get text messages from your watch. That is pretty slick.

Can you do the above with an AW and iPhone?
Yes I do that all the time when I go waddling. (My fat middle aged asthmatic version of jogging).
