Hmm, never heard of this. Did this start within the last year? Seems a real bummer for the multi phone enthusiasts like yourself.
Having difficulty switching among different OLEDs was always something I noticed but seemed to hit me seriously last year with the 13 Pro being the catalyst. It’s now my 14 Pro Max doing the same, except this time I can use the 14 Pro Max. Last year the 13 Pro Max turned out to be behind a headache that wouldn’t go away. And it rendered me unable to ever be able to use my 12 mini again. But on 13 Pro, I was at least able to use my Android OLEDs. That doesn’t seem to be the case for me while on the 14 Pro Max right now.
iPhone LCD has not been great for me either. For the last year, while using my iPhone 11 and SE3, I was essentially losing the vision in my left eye to a growing flickering white “curtain” at the extreme left side of my left eye. That has almost completely stopped and dramatically receded when I got my 14 Pro Max.
I first got this flicker a couple of years ago using the Nintendo Switch and later, my SE2. It went away when I went to iPhone 12 mini and 12 Pro Max and 13 Pro. Came back when I gave up 13 Pro and went to the 11 and SE3.
So now I know LCD is the culprit. My opthamologist did two very intensive exams and can’t find an ocular problem so it’s got to be neurological.
I’m thinking temporal dithering may be the cause for that, but that’s just a guess and I don’t know why only one eye is affected. I will be seeing a neurologist about it but I’m having trouble with appointment availability and my schedule. I’m just glad I’ve invested in 1 TB of storage on this 14 Pro Max and got this awesome purple, because I may be on it awhile.
As for iOS glitches, they’re not horrible. Every now and again there’s something that pops up.
