I guess i'm one of the few who prefers glossy. I have a Kinda Coral P6 and I think it looks pretty slick with a glossy back.

I believe you can bypass lockscreen after face unlock but he might have not turned it on in settings .. let's all remember to change resolution on Pro it's defaulted on the lower setting ..
Interesting that in his testing he got slightly less battery life than the 6 Pro, while MKBHD said it was great.
That Lemon Grass color looks good!
It does. I don't think I'd like the gold on it as well with another color but it blends well with this color.
I'll also say this clear case is nicer with the phone in it.
So far it's working well, so happier there.
Can't get the weather bug app to get my location on it yet.
Trying Pixel launcher again. Didn't really like it a lot in the 4a as I really like the Microsoft launcher.
PL is ok but don't like notification dots with no number for one thing.

Well first instance of esim being a pain in the rear. Trying to activate online and it’s not allowing it. I guess it’s so new it is not in AT&T’s system 
The fingerprint sensor I've had a little trouble with. It doesn't recognize it first time. I used my thumb since it is on the screen. Shouldn't matter.
The P4a fingerprint sensor is lightning fast and rarely did I need to do it twice so in comparison this one so far isn't good.
I did add a second fingerprint though and after a few tries it synced to one of my apps.
Not sure if I'll do a face unlock.

I am down to 15% battery so not sure if that's it but my camera won't open. It vibrates and then closes. Hmmm

I’ve just seen a TV advert for Pixel 7!
I know google went quite big on adverts for the 6 here in the UK (for the first time ever), so good to see them continuing for the 7.

Yeah was going to say-I see TONS more advertising for the Pixel phones these days compared to previous years/launches.
A god haul. Plus my dogs snout sniffing the buds pro. 🙄😂.
For those who missed my post, I’m not keeping both phones. Just the Pro. The reg 7 is being sold I only picked it up to secure a trade in for my broken pixel 6 and get the free buds pro plus the google 10% credit back.
Now time to get the coffee on and set up. 😛

First impressions are that it feels so much more comfortable to hold with the flatter sides when not in a case.
The leather Bellroy case fits like a glove and looks the business for the all stealth look.

Only set the phone up so far and am doing the buds now. Leaving watch til last so it is still in the box. The buds are a comfortable fit. I like the different tips to try out.
Currently doing a firmware update on them.
The phone feels exactly the same as the 6 Pro. I'll be honest, I'm not noticing any less of a curve, it feels pretty much the same to me. Not a major issue, as I'm used to it now but expected a slightly 'flatter' feel.
Phone hasn't got 'hot' once during set up. Just a little warm as you'd expect, so already a big improvement over the last gen. Typing this on the 7 pro and so pleased to be back on GBoard. iOS keyboard is utterly horrible in comparison.
I've read that Gboard is better on iOS i.e. more customizations vs Gboard on Android. Did you try Gboard on your iPhone? Oh how's the battery holding up? We've read some that it's better and others saying it's the same as in the past.
Yeah I did try it. I hated it on iOS.
It's better in terms of predicting the words. iOS would keep words like ALDO in the sentence and underline it in red when it was very clear I meant to type ALSO. Just basic stuff. GBoard also doesn't play well with emojis on iOS.
Battery is draining. Started the day when I unboxed at 56% now on 36%. That's with full on set up, app updates, buds firmware updates etc.

That's to be expected I guess because the Tensor G2 chip is probably running close to 100%. I would like to see how it looks 2-3 weeks after everything settles down with normal use.
