I do like nova, i know some don't like it due to animations and swiping isn't always as fluid.
I have my animations at .5 and both my phones have zero lag or issues navigating the UI ...I don't see any advantage with stock launcher..ZERO ! Lol it's good having choices ..that's mine

I just don't like it. Never have.
If I was ever going to use a third party it'd be Lawnchair. Which is based on stock but with some added features. But it is janky with the swipe animations which prevents me from using it full time.

true, don't think I have done that on my pixel. I always do it on my samsung phones. I do like how my widgets look better with nova. I do like my widgets to be fair.

I don't see any jankiness myself ..I've used Lawnchair previously ..I've not kept up to date on that launcher recently but it was good back then ..

Yeah it's fine when you use the nav buttons and not the swipe options. Try swiping up and scrolling through open apps or try sliding left to right from the bottom to swap between apps and the jagginess will rear it's head. If it doesn't, then they've fixed it. But I tried it on my 6 Pro and it was a problem.

Stock does everything I need it to do apart from more themed icons which I will just have to get over. 😋

Make sure you use someone's Superfan code. There's one listed above from a member and I have one too if you need it. It's a $100 store credit for both you and the Superfan member.
Those codes are one-time-use. Once it's used you get an email with a new one. I'm waiting on my next one (based on previous timing I expect it tomorrow) to send to @Technerd108 and then I'll get another once that one is used...

Anyone been using the Pixel Stand 2? I have some credit left and thought about picking it up since it's $59 ($20 off) now.
I'm using it. It's okay. Nothing special in my opinion... I do have it on my desk which makes it easy while I'm working.. I don't use any of the other smart features..

I think I’m going to pick up a 7 Pro and try it out. If anyone here has an unused Superfans code, DM me and I’ll save us both $100. Cheers.

Where is the skin from for the camera? And how difficult was it to apply?
It's from Sopiguard ..they have quick turnaround on shipping so I've used them on a regular..easy to install ..I just lightly place or readjust till I like the fit..don't use too much heat with dryer I learned on one it stretched on me lol

I redid my face unlock yesterday and positioned myself in front of a window so there was light behind me. Since I did it, the face unlock has been so good! Even in low light it's picking my face up which it wasn't doing before.

Not sure if there's any rhyme or reason to it, it could just be that readding my face has worked better than when I first set the phone up, but it's good so far!

May be worth people trying the same if they find it only works in good lighting!

Yep, I keep trying to like the stock launcher but hate the dot notifications. Using Nova currently but also really like Microsoft launcher.

The face unlock is great. The finger print sensor still sucks.

What's the blue camera cover? They have more options? I don't like that part exposed when using the Google case.
Ah yes ..it's a skin and you have different options ...there are a few brands I've used before like Slickwraps and Dbrand...but I like using Sopiguard they have quick turnaround

I received my Peak design case today and love it! If you like to use magsafe, it's perfect for that. It works with my existing mag safe chargers and accessories.

I purchased right before the Black Friday sale that is 30% off. I sent them an email and they promptly refunded 30%, which was unexpected, but very appreciated.
