Good day folks!.. I saw a few posts on Google VPN and it looks like if you go into the Google One app you're able to enable it for those that are interested...
Saw that but im not interested in paying $9.99 a month for Google One. They are offering a 3 month trial. The other things that come with it used to be free.
I paid $28 a year for IPVanish VPN on a Holliday deal and can use it on all devices in the house.
Is it free for us? Don't you have to sign up for google 1?I would not pay that either. This is for getting the VPN for free for Pixel 7 owners.
Free for all Pixel 7 owners. Only on device though. If you want to use the VPN on other devices such as MacOS or Windows you need to be on the premium Google 1 plan.Is it free for us? Don't you have to sign up for google 1?
Expect it this month ...some like myself have it already ..all I had to do was enable on the app ..It's not working on my Pixel 7. Not sure why. Doesn't show VPN eligibility in Google 1 app.
might wait to download this when i get home. Given how long pixel updates seem to take.Let's go folks ...update with new features and a pretty good bug fix list..
Pixel 7 gets over 70 fixes with Android 13 QPR1 update
As expected, Android 13 QPR1 introduces a slew of fixes for both the Pixel 7 series and older supported Google phones.9to5google.com
A non issue. Speaking for myself, of course. But if youre the kind who sits and watches an iPhone and a pixel and counts signal bars then you will likely find something to moan about. 🤣Greetings all!
Peeping over the fence from Apple land.. since I ditched the S21 Ultra.
I am seriously considering the Pixel 7 Pro.. what has the connectivity been like for you guys?
Especially interested to hear from the UK crowd.
Cheers.

I’m not one of those signal bar watchers. Haha.
Have to admit I got faster speeds with the S21 Ultra than I did with the iPhone 13 Pro but the iPhone 14 Pro has now closed the gap.
I heard last year’s Pixels were horrendous with dropped calls etc.
I just want to make sure I don’t get dropped calls etc and make sure I get my monies worth from my EE max speeds.
Currently toying with the idea of the Pixel 7 Pro or the S22 Ultra. Not had a Pixel since the OG Pixel which I loved.
Decisions decisions.
I didn't have too many dropped call issues with my P6P but did notice slower speeds and occasionally no signal in places my S22U or iPhone would have. That's not the case so far on the P7P. Speeds have been just as good my Z Fold4 and iPhone 14PM and no loss of signal at all. The modem performance seems to be improved to me. This is one of the fastest speedtest results I've had here in the Dallas area on AT&T.I’m not one of those signal bar watchers. Haha.

That's nearly 1 GB download speeds, nice !I didn't have too many dropped call issues with my P6P but did notice slower speeds and occasionally no signal in places my S22U or iPhone would have. I've only seen these speeds in a few places where AT&T has mmwave deployed. Downtown Dallas, Houston, Indianapolis, and at Universal Studios in Orlando where I got over 1 gbps with my S22U. I live and work in the suburbs of Dallas and the speeds are still not too shabby. That's nearly 1 GB download speeds, nice !
I am thinking of doing the same thing. Tell me your impressions and thoughts about the difference between the two if you would be so kind.Joined the club yesterday, ditching my 13 Pro and picked up the black Pixel 7 Pro.
Honestly no specific reason other than I fancied a change and not had a Pixel since the 4. I love the camera on this much more than my 13 Pro.I am thinking of doing the same thing. Tell me your impressions and thoughts about the difference between the two if you would be so kind.
Congrats on your purchase. You really can't go wrong with either phone but Google has upped their game and is taking the Pixel line a lot more serious as is evident by all the incentives this year to get more phones in the hands of future customers.Honestly no specific reason other than I fancied a change and not had a Pixel since the 4. Just ordered the Pixel stand 2nd gen, I've had the original since it first came out so be a nice upgrade. Considering the Bellroy case, looks much better than the one I had for my Pixel 4.
