While it wasn't a purchase, I DO plan on dumping some money into it. A customer came into our store looking to trade his Macbook Pro in for a new one. Unfortunately, it has a cracked glass panel over the display, and we can't do a trade in on a broken computer. He asked "Well could you guys recycle it? Or do you want it?". Normally I wouldn't take a computer from a customer, but this thing is nearly flawless. I can get a replacement glass panel for $100 and have the piece installed is free, since I work for a company with a service depot :D It's far from the most powerful computer out there, but it's more than functional! Specs are:

2.53GHz Core 2 Duo
4GB DDR3-1067 RAM (upgrading to 8GB next month for fun)
250GB 5400RPM HDD (might give it a 60GB/120GB SSD + 1TB storage drive next month as well)
Nvidia GeForce 9400m. Not an amazing card, but it gets the job done for what I want to do on it!)

It barely has any signs of wear and tear on it except for the very few minor marks around the edges. It's mainly going to be used as my everyday "Facebook/iTunes/email/movies" computer, and it will do that very well :) Plus it was free, so WOOHOO! But one thing I refused to do: Sell it. I was given it for free on good faith. I don't want to try and profit off of it. I could easily get a few hundred dollars for it, but that's not right. Karma will come back an bite me for that.

Did you tell the customer that it would be dirt cheap to change the panel and that he should do that and then sell it or give it to someone closer to him? I didn't like taking tips during my years as a bartender, so I couldn't even imagine taking accepting something like that from someone I don't know.

Remote shutter release for the Canon i just got. I know there are a lot of DSLR owners here, anything else i should buy for the T2i/550D?

2 13" MacBook Pro's, both base models. One for the gf and one for me, mine I swapped the ram from my Mini to the MacBook so my Mini now has 4GB and my Pro has 8GB. Returned my iPad because I'll get more use out of the MacBook.

Cracked my screen and thought I should finally get one of these.

Substitute wedding band for my original one I beat the crap out of.

Hey dude, what is that ring made from it looks awesome, very similar to my wedding and except mine is made of Palladium, quite a soft metal so it has taken a pounding over the years!

Edit: scratch that I just read the writing on the pic!!!

Just ordered a new hoody. Was looking at ordering shorts & t-shirts etc last week but the weather has suddenly changed and it has been freezing the last two days.

Last time I played I spent 20 minutes on the runway, trying to figure out how to make the plane go forwards. After I'd sold it in frustration I learned there were tutorials...

Now I'm getting it again with my tail between my legs...

Just bought some seashells. I plan writing on them to ask a girl to prom :).

Clever! If I were a girl I'd swoon over that I believe as I am a fan of anything oceanic.

I remember asking a girl to the prom and she thought I was kidding and said no 0_0 (then said yes shortly after when she realized I was serious so it worked out).

Panasonic NI-S300TR...this thing is awesome, gotta look sharp for the ladies

Awesome purchase! I've been kicking one around as well, but just haven't made the move yet. I would love a post back on this once you have had time to use it.

And keeping up with the thread....Incase Slider for iPod touch.
