I had a ferret who ended up getting his name from something that happened when he was young, too.

He'd always being doing stuff to aggravate my mom. She'd always say "If he does that again, you're getting rid of him."

So I named him "Iffy". :)

But most of the time he's just old, odd and a bit grumpy:

Evidently. Is it just me or do most long haired cats look grumpy?? Yours does, mine does and so do the many others that i have seen. I like the long-hairedness about them though. Short haired cats are so common

Here's Sammie's buddy Bailey. Sammie is a 155 lb. Great Dane and Bailey is a 185 lb. English Mastiff. Needless to say, I don't feel the need for an alarm on the house. :)

Tyson

Tyson, my American Pit Bull Terrier. I *love* him. He is the biggest, loveable, playful, adorable goof I've ever met.

It's neat - I see a lot of my dog in yours. Bailey is a mutt, but we've pretty much nailed her to some mix of American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier/Lab/?? - lol. The faces are very similar!

I've had my cat Kiernan for about a month now, I inherited him from my mother who couldn't deal with 2 cats and an old dog all at the same time. He's not quite two and he's really, really active.

He's actually like a dog -- he plays fetch (better than any of my dogs ever did -- he brings it back!), he greets me when I come in the door, he runs to the door like a watchcat when someone knocks (most cats run away), and he follows me everywhere -- he's at my heels no matter where I am.

This is his "house"; a $6.99 nylon cube that has gotten more action than any of his other toys, as evidenced by the bite marks.

And here's the best: the other day I walked into the back bathroom while he was peeing, and I found out that he stands up against the wall while he's going! What a man! :D
