Best ice cream maker ever.

Really because I was told by someone at William sonoma today to skip it ($80) and buy their $60 cuisinart. He said it doesn't stay cold long enough to firm up.

Typical salesman crap. Just have to keep it in the freezer for 15 hours and churn the ice cream for 20-25 minutes and it will be ready. If not, it will take a few more minutes( often happens when I make Irish Cream ice cream as the alcohol lowers the freezing temp of the ice cream). But, it stays frozen plenty long enough for the ice cream to firm up.

We did Christmas today, (Christmas eve) Because I work tomorrow morning. I got a bunch of clothes and a water bottle, and a Starbucks card. And candy.
I make my Christmas by buying some stuff for myself. I bought a L desk and a new deskchair. and an Airsoft gun I got onsale at Big5. Just to shoot my siblings and there friends. You know.

My sister gave me a zebra print toiletry bag (I travel a lot and asked for one) and the person who drew my name (my sister-in-law) gave me a big bottle of Asti champagne and two little bottles of Apple Brandy. In my family, people over 18 draw names and give a gift worth about $20 that starts with that year's letter. This year was "A". To make up for the lack of gifts, I bought myself a Kinect, Dance Central and a new mattress set

This is the only thing I know about.

I would highly recommend buying the meat grinder attachment for that thing. I have been at my parents house since Dec 17th and bought 2 beef tenderloins from the local grocery store. I saved about $30 because the parents live out in the boonies compared to the city.

I trimmed up each tenderloin into some steaks, froze them and used the extra trimmings to make some ground tenderloin. Then I got hungry and used the ground tenderloin to make mini cheeseburgers infused with bacon. Mmmmmmm.

I am not quite sure which one I will get when my sister comes up later today. They are both black though.

She also got be a bunch of cool stuff for my GTI too. OEM Bluetooth radio form the Canadian market cars and a dead pedal to match my TT pedals I already have. A crap load of funny geek t-shirts etc etc etc.

All in all for not doing Christmas for the last 10 years we kinda went a little nuts this year.
