I'm deadly outdated. :(

Your computer is way faster than my 5-year-old tower!

Oh yeah I hadn't seen that! Well in that case what you waiting for? You could get Tiger on that thing now for about $60-70 (secondhand). :)

I can testify that Tiger runs like a dream on my Dual 1 GHz G4 with 1.5 GB RAM :)

My specs (just posted them up like 4 posts)
733, 896 mb ram runs Tiger wonderfully. I upgraded the videocard and have a DVD burner in it as well.

For those who don't know how, you can use CMD-SHIFT-4, and crosshairs will appear. You can then drag the crosshairs across the area you want to select and an image will appear on your desktop that you can attach.

Thanks for that tip, iGary:)

Here's my MB's specs;

Welcome the MacHoover owner club. Just keep it running 24/7 and you can forget about vacuuming. :) ;)

I don't think it is that loud. On bootup it sounds like a true vacuum cleaner but after that it calms down. I guess I got lucky with this one. I was able to sleep the entire night with a Windtunnel 2 feet away from me. The funny thing is at times my iMac was louder than my MDD when the fans would kick in.:eek:

I have a MDD too. I don't know if I have gotten use to the noise or my hearing is gettin worse, but the noise doesn't bother me at all. Still as you said, the sound of a MDD at bootup is like a fighterjet taking of a hangarship. :rolleyes:
