after pressing that combo - press space when the crosshairs appear and you get a camera icon th at lets you take pics exactly the size of the window or app you hover against.

I know this is an older posting, but i gotta say a thank you! I never knew about this mac feature! lol after all this time.... doh!!

I like it. I think... the thing that isn't quite right is the font... Can you set it to be the system font? Then it might be perfect.

Helvetica or whatever it's called. Try that...haha. unless that's what it is...but the system usually uses helvetica..right? Or maybe he means an Apple font.

I like to keep it simple.

Silkscreen font.

Unchecked "Show Groups" under "View"

Black.

I don't really have a lot of people to talk to, so being simple is nice.

Looks nice, but Helvetica's not the system font. Look for Lucida Grande; that's what Apple uses in the Mac OS X menus and actually in the iChat contact list as well.

Changed the setup - ditched metal adium and went for the regular Adium app. It's normally docked in the bottom left corner, but it was easier to show with it moved off it.
