ALL of my colour photos are with a Sony cybershot Point-and-shoot camera thats a few years old

Newest Stuff thread
Flickr feed here

All taken with a small sony point and shoot camera in macro mode whilst going on a walk with the family :D

I tried to simulate a sort of HDRI effect. They look purposely over edited and saturated but i think its effective in this example.
Felt the background colour of the peacock photo was very distracting and looked a lot more interesting and effective with it partly black and white.

This was a few months ago in the fall. I took this picture at a local pond with an old Panasonic Lumix. Opinions? (Resized)

More from my DSC-W200:

I've learned to scroll through the white balance on the camera until I find one that looks best, rather than using auto mode (and it's made for some cool stuff). All of these didn't have any Photoshopping done to them other than cropping.

Recent pics from my Olympus E-P1...

with the 17mm Pancake attached (quite a portable package). ;)

Not my best, just some recent pics I am happy with. :)

Tony

Oregon coast
a few from today...

I've been shooting a little Panny Lumix LZ8 p/s since December - it's real handy and takes pretty decent 16:9 video clips, too. Today I went out for a little trip into the back country around where I live on the Oregon coast and took the little p/s with me. I wouldn't call these my best p/s shots, but they sort of show what this little camera will do on P mode - but it also has full manual, Aperture preferred and Shutter preferred modes and runs on double A batteries.

First - the camera in question (mirror shot, obviously.. ;) )

All of the following were shot using 16:9 aspect ratio in camera except the last one, which is 3:2

Right now I'm using a Sony DSC-W200 (and Photoshop to fix the coloring, looks extremely bland without post-processing most of the time).

[snip x 4]

It seems to work best when doing long-exposure photographs (don't know what the technical term for it is :p).

wow.
these look awesome...
