Thanks. Yup, I did. Purple asparagus tends to be quite thick, and the thicker the tougher.
Last night's dinner:
Lettuce wraps of corn, tomato, red onion, lime, cilantro, garlic scapes, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika.
Caprese salad. This mozzarella from Touch of Italy in Lewes, Delaware is fantastic.
Tonight's dinner:
Roasted red potatoes with garlic, rosemary, basil, parsley, oregano, and marjoram.
Sautéed yellow squash and zucchini with fire-roasted red peppers, young garlic, garlic scapes, lemon, basil, and parsley. Sprinkled with parmesan.
