Finally made ribs with diy BBQ sauce. Let it sit in a plastic bag with some lemon juice and jägermeister in the fridge for 24 hours, ten boiled it in spiced up water for about then hour before throwing it in the BBQ with the secret sauce which is totmato sauce with grated onions, a metric ton of garlic, smoked chipotle pepper flakes, brown sugar and a grated habanero. It was pretty good. I was surprised since this was my first time.

not familiar with sugar pie, but this reminded me of pecan pie without the pecans. LOL

got to try wylie dufresne's alder last summer. sad to hear that it is already closed.

Very much similar, bit more creamier though. I had to look it up and it is the same thing. Sugar pie was popular overseas at one point but it fell out of favor.

Lunch:
