Leche Flan
i find tex mex to be ok. i live in CA. the mexican food here is very different. my wife is originally from the houston area and we also have a house there which we frequent several times a year. she loves tex mex and finds the stuff here to be just ok - go figure.
The only tex mex I've had was at Pappasitos in San Antonio and that was even pretty good but otherwise all the stuff in El Paso is authentic, not tex mex. How is it different in Cali?
love leche flan
Is called cali-mex, and it different because most of the food is influence by the people from the baja california and west coast of mexico.
Ex. If your from the south, mid-west, and even south west, you know what a chicken fried steak is or brisket. While people from the east coast do not make it a regular meal. They know what i is but just don't serve it as much.
That's the best way to describe the differences, IMO.
In-N-Out, just the cheeseburger by itself

3 x double yolkers in a row (just googled it and a double yolker is 1/1000) what odds for a triple double?
My magazine lunch the other day. I may have ruined the healthiness with the sausage, but it was delicious.
Adapted from the directions on the suasage package here.
Farfalle noodles, Johnsonville mild Italian sausage links, grape or cherry tomatoes, steamed or pressure cooked zucchini and asparagus, olive oil, pepper to taste. I was going to add some red peppers, but it was bad when I cut it open.
