Dinner last night. I call it a giant chicken fajita baked empanada.

Raw garlic and herb pizza dough from Trader Joe's with guacamole, black beans, sauteed chicken, onions, and orange pepper, and topped with black bean and corn salsa.

Covered with more dough, sealed (using water), and brushed with olive oil.

Baked until golden brown.

The final product. Nom......glad I have leftovers for lunch!

Teppanyaki (more commonly - and erroneously - called "Hibachi" in the US) from Miyako's in New Orleans :)

Left to right:

Starbucks venti rooibos tea latte with soy
mushroom soup (sitting on top of salad)
shrimp fried rice
Chicken and shrimp with veggies and soba noodles :)

I've been posting in the Purchase thread... kinda forgot about this thread.

Anyway... been eating pretty much the same types of meals for a couple weeks now. Now that I'm graduated, but can't find work, I have a fair amount of free time. Figured it was time to really start hitting the gym hard and get back in shape. And so I'm trying to also eat a bit healthier, too. More protein. More veggies. And less preservatives, sodas, and candy/junk.

Lots of these:

(I know, I'm killing the environment. I just REALLY prefer disposable bottles)

And usually one or two of these:

... and I typically sneak in a can of Mt. Dew in each day. :p

Made an Asian style meal tonight. White rice with a whole bunch of vegetables stir fried with soy sauce and a little bit of teriyaki sauce. (both organic) No meat, but chicken would make it even better! Been eating this for years now and it's always yummy :) nom nom nom

Looks tasty. Too much sauce though.
