Filet mignon with a horseradish and chive mashed potatoes, a red wine demi glaze (it solidified), sautéed baby carrots with the stem on, and on top of the steak was a dolip of horseradish sauce and parmesan cheese.
The girlfriend and I found this really awesome website called howsweeteats.com and I decided to make a couple recipes, 20-Minute Tomato Pasta and Cake Batter Crispy Treats. Too bad she is all the way in Houston and I couldn't make them for her, but oh well we'll cook together in less than 3 weeks
Dinner tonight: I marinaded the steaks for two days and grilled them to a perfect medium rare. The sides: grilled zucchini, roasted corn, and a roasted garlic bulb.
