Never had Dickey's BBQ before, it was really good.

I went with the pulled pork sandwich, baked potato casserole, and mac n' cheese.

Turkey and cranberry cream cheese on rye from the culinary school upstairs, pretty good for $5. Although the rye was a but overpowering.

Just the right amount for me.

Fortunately, the sauce comes in a separate package, so when you make it for yourself, you can put in as little as you'd like.

I made mashed potatoes tonight here in Xingtai, China...where i'm sure they've never made it. First time eating this since back in the U.S. over 3 months ago.. Came out pretty good in the end. Threw in some spring onion bits at the end.

I took my wife to Langer's Deli for lunch for Mother's Day (it's closed tomorrow). We never eat like this, so it's a nice treat.

From the front to the back: potato knish with gravy, kiska with gravy, cabbage soup. Oh and a black cherry cola, of course:


The famous #19: pastrami, swiss cheese, cole slaw. I chose the Russian dressing on the side. I forgot to take a photo until we were already eating it.

It's still RAW on this picture! And it's my own special beer/honey/chilli marinade! And of course no blood on this!
