The Canon S90 is very good, and the G10/G11 are very nice as well. Of course, ultimately the quality of the photos is up to you. These cameras do have a lot of options for control though, something you'll find more and more useful over time.

From what I have read the S90 and G11 have the same sensor. Could be wrong though.

I had both and both had virtually similar outstanding pictures. I would go with the s90 for portability though. The G11 has all the bells and whistles.

Normal wide lenses for three formats: 135, 6x7, and 4x5. The 4x5 lens is unusually big for its focal length.

Whats a good beginner camera, besides Pentax k-x. I'm looking for some comparison, are there other good cameras for a novice to get started with, maybe not too expensive?

Much prefer the V series stylings to the new 'blads. My 500 C/M is still looking gorgeous, and your 503CX is lustworthy. Been tempted by the digital backs for the V series to be honest, but I'd have to really decide to be rid of my dSLR kit to afford a switch.

I personally wouldn't ditch the dSLR kit for a V series MFDB. It may be useful of everything you shoot stands stiff, but if movement is involved or you need higher ISO, dSLR is still king. Not to mention the better back screens (if you chimp), flexible zooms, smaller bodies, weather sealing, FPS, etc.

Yeah, logic always drives me away from doing it - my dSLR kit is my journalistic workhorse, and a V series just doesn't fit. Doesn't stop me wanting one though, but I must admit an M9 is probably my first stop as the M7 wants a little friend.

Nice and Simple, sorry for the awful photo.
Nikon D90 + Nikon 50 mm f/1.8 + Sigma 10-20 mm f/4-5.6

I'm hoping to get my hands on either a Sigma 85 mm f/1.4 or a Nikon 85 mm F/1.8 and a SB700 fairly soon.

please help me out jaws

I know this reply has nothing to do with this thread but I have the 03 elantra gt also. I was wondering if you could get me the name or type of bugshield that you have on your car. I know it is weird but I have been looking everywhere and cant find it at all. Sorry for any inconvenience but you would be doing me a huge favor.
