My Canon 550D\T2i with the 18-55 F:3.5\5.6 (kit lens), the case and the 16gb Samsung Class6 SDHC card (and the most awesome cat ever).

I plan to buy a decent video tripod and a Canon 50mm F1.8 lens.

Some of my camera gear here, not including tripods, monopods, rain covers and other misc accessories. I'd have to unpack them all from boxes. I have one box just for manuals. There is one MH-22 quick charger pictured, but I actually have two. One I bought, the other I got with the D3s as standard.

The little lens in the front left is the kit lens 18-135mm, which is actually a fine little general purpose lens. Despite the reputations some of them have, this one is quite good on the D80.

I agree with the 18-135mm. I love using it as an all-purpose lens for my D90.

Here is my gear (everything is in my signature)

And surprise surprise, the 70-300mm F/4-5.6G lens (the really cheap one) is also not bad provided it is stopped down to F/9.0 or F/11 on the D700. Seems to have minimal vignetting and is quite sharp. Found that out through necessity - needed a lens like that and didn't have a better alternative available at short notice.

- Canon 60d w/ Canon Battery Grip
- Canon ef 50mm 1.8 (Will be buying the ef 50mm 1.4 USM very soon)
-Canon ef 28mm 1.8 USM w/ B+W UV Haze Filter & Canon Lens hood
- Canon ef-s 55-250mm 4-5.6 is (Probably selling this soon)
- Canon Speedlight 430EX II
- Rode Stereo Videomic
-Gary Fong Light Sphere unviersal w/ original dome, amber dome, & Chrome Dome.
- Ape Case Pro 2000

- Various filters and memory cards

I just sold my old Rebel XSi kit to make room for more lenses. I am trying to build up my collection using ideally fast primes, I like the versatility of a zoom, but I like the constant aperture of prime better. Plus having a fixed focal length makes me work harder to get the shot i want. However, once i have saved up for some L glass I am sure I would gladly accept a zoom. (especially the 24-70 & 70-200)

Mainly use my XZ-1 now, great camera. Even better now with the new auto lens cap.
Just a shame it sucks at video.
