My gear:

Main (what I use most)

Zenit 12
Hellios 44M-4 58mm f2.8
Jupiter 11 135mm f4
some russian macro thingy (don't know the name in english )

others:

Lomo Fisheye

Olympus IS-1000

Canon A430 (almost don't use it)

Finally time for a DSLR:

Pentax K110D
Sigma 18-50 mm f3.5-5.6
Sigma 55-200 mm f4-5.6+UV Filter
Pentax IR Remote

bought this "pack" for 250eur used, not bad for my first DSLR I think...
Soon I'll buy a 4Gb Extreme 3 SDHC card,a M42 to pentax mount adapter and batteries, maybe Uniross Multi Usage+ Long Life Batteries or Eneloop..don't know..

I recently acquired some film camera equipment as shown in my first picture. Both are Zenit cameras but other than that I know nothing about them. So far they are just ornaments sitting in my room :)

And of course, my recently purchased Kodak Easyshare Z950 which I can't picture without borrowing another camera.. So I just attached a picture from Google Images. Anybody know anything about the film cameras?[/QUOTE

Zenit is a USSR brand, they did some heavy and simple slr's,they are good for the price, and built like tanks :) there is lot of info on the net about zenit.

Yay! Another Pentaxian! :D
Sounds like you made out well! Gotta love the fact that you can use the M42 lenses. Try to get the Pentax brand adapter.

I love that camera!Very cool kit :)

Thanks, I love it, too. And it's cool it comes in white ;)
I think I made out pretty well, also. $575 for the K-x, 18-55mm kit lens, and DA 50-200mm f/4-5.6.

I'm watching a few genuine pentax m42 adapters on ebay,hope I win one :D
That was a very cool price for the K-x,here in Portugal I think they sell that kit for about 680eur...the kx body is about 500eur..it is a lot of money for me now..

As far as I know the K110D doesn't support SDHC just regular SD cards that max out at 4GB. Are you sure that will even work. A quick check of Wikipedia says it shouldn't. The first Pentax DSLRs to support SDHC where the K10D and K100D Super.

With the latest firmwares it supports SDHC,I now have a cheapo 4Gb SDHC in there.

Wow! Most of what I've read on the pentax forums said Pentax doesn't really offer Firmware updates outside of the higher end models like K10D, K20D, and K7 in the last few years. Looks like I missed the boat with my K200D. Not that I think it needs a firmware update though the focus motor does act up sometimes with the battery grip.

Well,if it ain't broken,no need to fix it :)
You can check here for firmwares, but there is nothing for your k200D.
I'm loving my K110D,but just found today that there is a store in spain that sells the K-x for about 370eur with the Kit lens, maybe I will start saving for it.(it was the K-m :( )
This K110D is good enough on features for me,but I "shake" a lot,and the shake reduction on K-x could be very good (apart from other features of course).
About MF Lenses, already bought an original pentax adapter for M42 lenses, and maybe I'll buy one or two MF Soviet lenses,an Industar 61 L/Z and a Mir 1B,after that,no more purchases :D

How are you liking the SB-600 is the SB-900 worth the extra money? (I plan on using it for my D90)
I'm not a professional, so it would depend on what you're using it for. For me, its been great. Aside the fact that I'm still trying to get used to the settings and learn how much light to use in certain occasions.

If you're just getting started, the SB-600 is a good buy. I haven't been shooting cause my best friend (whos a professional shooter) broke his 18-135 and borrowed mines, so I just got it back.

I just purchased a new Rebel XSi as my first DSLR. Along with it I purchased a battery grip and the rebel starter kit (uv filter, extra battery, canon bag).

I'm wondering, what is the best / most active digital photography forum?

Thanks

I have been using P2 video cameras for a while. But, I am totally stoked about the filmic look and shallow DOF that this camera provides. Granted it does have some issues, but nothing that can't be worked around.

FYI, the last episode of House was filmed completely on this camera. So, I may be on to something?
