OMG @ Some of these speeds I'm seeing.:eek::eek:

I'm with Rogers in Canada. I have their High Speed Internet Extreme.

Advertised speeds of 10mb down & 1mb up.

Speedtest:

9.67Mb/s download
0.98Mb/s upload.

I don't know how to post the image of the test.

When your SpeedTest is over, you should get a small pop up window with your results. Click on the "Copy Forum Link" button, and your results URL will be copied to your clipboard. Write your reply to the thread and then right click to paste your results into your post like this:

You don't need to use the "Insert Link" button, just paste.

University connections really are the best, especially when you're a Computer Science student & can bypass the draconian firewalls & restrictions that all the other students have to put up with :)

It's just a pity that outside of the University the fastest connection you can get in town is 8Mb/s (advertised), which is what I have to put up with now that I live in a flat instead of halls.

This makes me sick. I am meant to be on 8mb, which I hardly get past 4 but after 7:00pm, I reach the mindblowing speeds above.

This is what I am getting in the day time.

Still slow?

Chillin at my friend's apartment. She just went in to Time Warner and said she wanted fast internet, naturally they sold her the fastest available in town. When my roommate and I move in to our new place we're getting 5 megs which isn't great but it beats the 800k:mad: we had until recently.

My new results from my newly acquired Home connection.

For my other AT&T Data Card and College results see below:

Just redid my speed test.

Here ya go!

Edit - Here is the Speed Test result for my AT&T Aircard. I am currently New Orleans, so I am assuming the network AT&T has here is still capped at 3.6 Mb/s vs the current update to 7.2 Mb/s in many other markets. Data card tops its limit at 1.8 MB/s, but I asked around AT&T tech, so I'm justing waiting for Data cards to be updated to a new limit:rolleyes:
