I can't. Otherwise I'd be fired. Also, I'm International Student, it would also be a security issue. :rolleyes: The University made me sign a NDA style paper at hiring me. Simply anything I see, I keep to myself. Although I can use the resources for my leisure. ei, downloading stuff like crazy.... unluckily, there is so much I can download.....

how about you run a test and then just post the results in a text based manner ;) that would be enough for me. you also might want to post the IP address (just kidding).

and HOW DARE you say there is only so much you can download! i could easily give you hundreds of GB to download for me ;) (im on a 25gb cap per month, its TORTURE)

Send over the DVDs, I'll burn em full of anything you need. ;)

Also, I could run that test in text based form, but no one would believe it. So it'd be pointless.

This speed is over my wireless network! and i can't wait for next week as i have been asked by Virgin to trial their new 50 Meg service :eek::D

this is their express plan i have right now..
I upgraded to the At&t elite plan which is the fastest plan they have and they are saying its up to 6mb speeds. how the hell are you people getting higher speeds?
At&t sucks!

I need high speeds for Hulu.com and downloads.

edit- what causes my ping to be so high? I'm running a uMBP over a wireless network from a Lynksis WRT-120N over N.

the fact that your wireless would help to make the ping quite high, try wired and see how that goes.

tbh that ping is low for my area, i see 100+ even on the fastest of connections (i know that has to relation but you know..)
