Upgraded my old connection today, on account of my new connection not functioning properly. I'm eagerly awaiting to tear a new one at the company who sold me a 40/20-connection they couldn't deliver.

new (apparently Docsis 3.0) modem. the exact same speed as my 2.0 modem.

I'd be really happy with that. I have Comcast here in Savannah and am getting 15.5 and 4.0 and that's with a brand new Motorola Docsis 3.0 modem.

This is the best mine's been since I had it. It's supposed to be 50Mb download and 1.5Mb upload...pretty close.

I only have the 16/2 tiered plan, so I've been told this is just PowerBoost. However I can download gigabyte sized files at over 3MB/s if the server supports it. So I'm not sure what to make of it.
