Will do the test again when we get our DSL 6000 flatrate, and with the 16000 again.

Just a question for all you lucky people with INSANELY FAST downloading speeds (15MB/s+). Can Apple's iTMS servers keep up? Like when you download a full album in iTunes, how fast does iTMS throw data at you? I'd be amazed if it could max you out, considering at any given time there are thousands of other people D/Ling songs too. How long DOES it take to download an album at your fastest possible connection speeds???

:) I haven't downloaded an album per se. I have downloaded TV shows of about 150 MB in less than 5 minutes from Apple.

My work connection. I want to find a speed test local to japan-- it would be much faster than bouncing all the way to california and back.

This is really disappointing. I pay a lot of money for DSL and this seems rather slow. Granted, it's over an AirPort network, but it doesn't seem much faster plugged in directly. Didn't feel like actually testing that right now, though. My boyfriend has cable and it's insanely fast. I wish we could get cable out here.

Comcast in Boston (On my PowerBook's Airport):
Can't remember exactly how much I pay, about $45/mo.

While this is nothing compared to some of your speeds, this is amazing for our rural area, it is from a Wireless Broadband connection from the water-tower in our town. What's even better is that is over my Wi-Fi connection. It's a far cry from the dial-up days that we had to suffer through last week.

Here's mine with bulldog broadband in the UK using New York server:
Download Speed: 4818 kbps (602.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 457 kbps (57.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

The price i pay is very variable on account of the frequent billing errors that they make.

I have Bellsouth extreme package... which kinda sucks.
