Figured I would try my connection speed at school. Really quite slow, but pretty good considering my school! lol

I figured this was a good chance to test my laptop (233 MHz, 160 RAM, 4.2 GB) and here are the results.

Not bad, advertised 5 mbps, and this is close enough.

Especsally on this old POS.

Download Speed: 182 kbps (22.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 468 kbps (58.5 KB/sec transfer rate)



thats slow as hell:mad: i used the NY server.
 
so adelphia just switched over to comcast... and now look at my connection speed..

I just had to brag.... I couldn't care less about upload really... I never upload more than 300kbps worth.

using comcast and ubuntu (unfortunately my MBP will never get to this kind of speed)

im in the uk and using the NY server. AOL(uk) silver 2Mbps ADSL

was previously on Orange unlimited and was only getting arround 115KBps down and 400KBps up, on an upto 8Mb ADSLMAX connection, how bad is that
 
Not bad considering I am more than 1/4 mile from the wifi antenna and I am only paying for 384kbps up and down.

I'm getting 1500(ish) on my Intel Mac Mini, but the 3202 and 3904 on my iBook G4 and iMac G5...what gives? They are all basicly in the same spot(give or take a foot or 2) and they all have Wi-Fi G

Sucks my Intel is that bad...hopefully when I upgrade wirless N will help!
