Well nice that cox has such a fast connection. It sucks to have to buy all new wireless equipment, but worth it. My ISP slowly outgrew my 4 year old 802.11b connection. On some sites I will download at 1MegaByte to 1.5 MegaBytes per second. Sucks how Im capped on upload though (not that I upload much)

Here is mine:

I took this in a datacentre I was visiting, I can't remember where it was, but they had this internet cafe with a shared 150Mbit (18.75MB/Sec) connection :)

As you can see, I'm downloading here, onto my laptop at almost 14Megabytes/Second. First time I've found a real need for gigabit Ethernet!!!

he/she must be right next to the server.

(maybe even plugged right into it :D )

As you can see, its a University connection. University dorms normally have super fast net connections. This was probably taken during off-peak hours, where very few people were using the shared (and I'll hazard a guess here and say..) 100Mbit connection.

haha honestly i don't even know. im just doing some summer work at a lab at northwestern university and i just use a regular ethernet cable.

i was so surprised when i did this because these numbers are insane.

at home over my wireless i get:
