How do you get Comcast so cheap???

We are paying $50 a month over here in CA, and we get about the same speeds as you. I'm calling Comcast.

I hate living in a small town with a p.o.s. ISP. In Montreal I had insane download speeds, over 1MB/sec. I could still only upload around 130k/sec, but that was ok with me.

19.99 for the first 6 months special.

Then when that expires threaten to cancel and they will renew it again.

a profane existence
Now that I am at Uni and no longer at home using dial-up, Here are the latest results:

Test #1
Download Speed: 320 kbps (40 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 826 kbps (103.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

Test #2
Download Speed: 581 kbps (72.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 2505 kbps (313.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

Might be faster if I was not bittorrenting Top Gear.
