Are these on this site cos i like em. let me know when they're up. these actually go well with betty02's black and blue set. you guys should combine them.

Also i was wondering if betty02 could make a totally black quicktime icon
I don't know who betty02 is, but if you still want the icons, pm me, I can zip them up for you.

This is very old, I know, sorry that I never saw your post.

I'm working on my first iconset:

Never realized how much work goes into creating icons. It is a lot of fun though.

those are really cool. My friend would love those (he loves oakley) if only he used a mac

Does anybody have the icons for the Western Digital Mybook. I have the 500GB & 1TB Drives. I would like to have both if possible. Thanks. :)

Working on this one right now, but it doesn't want to function properly once I turn it into an icns file, the mask is all weird. Below is what it's supposed to look like, but it ends up with jagged black areas covering where the white outline is.

EDIT: BTW, works fine when I drop the file onto Pic2Icon, though of course I couldn't use that for an app.

Probably asking alot, but could anyone turn this into an icon?

Acomdata_E5_250GB_SATA.jpeg

If you are really talented and generous could you make 2 separate ones? I have 2 of these drives, 1 usb and 1 firewire. You could put the usb symbol on the side of one, and the firewire symbol on the side of the other, where it says acomdata.

Thanks in advance if anyone does this.

Now that is sexy! If they made a black iMac I would break all records in speed to buy one! Great work

I just got a MyBook and had to make the right icon for it. I started making just the Premium Edition icons, then decided to do the whole line.

BTW: The icon pictures are from the WD MyBook site, so I didn't technically 'create' the icons. :)

OH BOY! I have that hard drive Now I can finally put the right icon to it. Thanks ever so much for all your work in making these

I have icns files that I created and want to apply them to folders, but can't. Short of creating an app with the icons and then copying from that, how do I apply the icns files to a folder or drive?

Right click on the folder or drive and then choose "Get Info"
Next find the icon you want to use and right click on it and choose "copy" Now back to the folder info box ..click on the icon in the top left of the box it should have a blue glow around it now. Go to edit then paste and the new icon will be there.

That's when copying icons from one file/folder to another. I mean icons contained within .icns files. Their file icon is not the icon contained inside.

Where can one get icon composer? I tried registering on apples website as a developer, but I don't think I could get it with the free version. Is this something that you have to pay for, in a roundabout way?

Also, its not on my OSX install discs either, I've checked.
