It's part of the Developer Tools that are on your OS X install CD's, or I think on some Macs have been a separate disk. I don't think it's downloadable anywhere.

I tried checking the discs for both the Mac Pro and the MacBook, it's not on there. Or, maybe I'm just missing it.

edit: you have to install the xcode tools, and then it's an option in there. found it.

Hope you guys can help

So I'm trying to install some pretty standard icons here, I'm trying to follow instructions as stated by command + I on the image file then choosing copy from the edit menu in finder. But most of the edit menu is grayed out when I do this! Am I doing something wrong here? See pic. I would appreciate the help. Thanks:eek:

^^ You need to mark (ie. click on) the small icon top left in the information window (it will then get a blue "halo") before you can paste the copied icon/image (and you need write privileges, but that seems fine here).

Here's my first attempts. A bunch of mac pro icons, and then I made ones for my WD Passport, my Raptor, and my Maxtor one touch.

and a frylock.

Still posting here??

Idk if people are still posting in this thread, but I was reading through it, and those Icons you all made are fantastic! I got my MacBook Pro about 2 years ago, and just started customizing it recently. I have been looking around the sites that make icons, and not many of them interest me, so I was wondering if some of you could find the time to make some icons.

The applications I would most appreciate them for are:
Dashboard
Mail
Safari
Dictionary
Address Book
Calender
Preview
Photo Booth
iPhoto
System Preferences
Microsoft Office Icons
iWork Icons
Inspirations
VirtualBox
Maybe Macintosh HD

I realize that was a long list, but I'm not that demanding.
If it helps I am a huge hockey fan, more specifically, the New Jersey Devils.
I have attached a file of what my dock looks like now.

Thank you all!

I've been trying in vain to replace my stock Macintosh HD icon with an iMac 20" (Alu) icon but seem to seem to have failed miserably, it downloads as a .png file, I've tried opening it in Preview, copying and then pasting it into "Get Info" menu which has worked for me previously; I replaced my Dropbox folder icons with the the Flurry System icons.

I've also tried using CandyBar but haven't had any success with that either.

This is the icon that I want: http://www.iconspedia.com/dload.php?up_id=34687

Can anyone help me?
