The R8 Would be my daily driver and the Aventador would be the weekend ride. I like the way you dream. Both of mine would be Black though, and I figure if I could afford those, I could afford a guy to wash and wax it for me.

A friend of mine had an R8, but it was in the shop (dealers...ugh) for 9 months out of his first year for a wheel bearing. Sold it promptly after.

As a 17 year old in the UK, passed my tested 1 month ago yesterday (06/11/13) my dream car at the minute isn't that fancy I want an Audi A1 S-line in the weird orange colour.
My problem is insurance companies in the UK; having my license for a month on most small engined old cars they want £3,000 - £5,000 for my first year which is just stupid.

I will have this by the time I'm 21.
Audi A1 S-line - 1.4 TSFI S-Tronic in Samoa Orange. 182BHP.

The UK insurance system is really effed up. My ex gf pays four times as much in the UK as she did in Sweden. For an identical car. This minuscule Skoda Citigo. (except for the LHD/RHD thing of course. Same engine, same specs, same color etc. I think it has different rims but that's it.)

And here I am, driving a huge sedan with a large V6 which is registered to my father in order to avoid the youth insurance. And its perfectly legal and nobody bats an eye. ~740 quid instead of ~3200 a year.

The UK insurance company really needs sorting out or young drivers won't get on the road and therefore not build up NCB! Not all young drivers want to drive like idiots!
Hopefully my mother and father will be able to help me out with christmas & my 18th in 4 months once you've got your first year out the way it's fine then and more affordable but that first year could kill it!

Even worse I can't get insured on my mums and dads-.- : Mum drives an '13 Audi TTRS and my dad '11 BMW 135i Coupe we tried but the insurance company guy just laughed on the phone.

Thank god I'm allowed to live my car dream through my mum and dad's love for cars with many trackdays in the uk (Oulton Park/Silverstone) and a yearly trip to Nurburgring in Germany which I would 100% recommend amazing place, people and track just the 9-10 hour drive!! :D

I think you linked the wrong picture. That's a Twingo. :D

No, it's not a wrong picture. This is it, for me. A little car with much room inside. That is all.

If I am lucky, than next year I can get on of these, or a newer model ... however, the older ones look much nicer with those circle lights :)

Hey, mate. I was just being cheeky. :D Over here, french cars have a pretty bad rep. Especially the Twingo. I never cared much for its looks, but it makes an awesome city car. You get a Tardis vibe off it. Its bigger on the inside than on the outside. And it pretty fun to drive too. Like a go cart on steroids.

Has she upgraded the TT RS to stage III? Could be an issue ;) I can only get insured on my dad's TT when I'm 21 so you'd have to be like 23 to be insured on an RS, though a 1 series will be fine when you're 19.

My mum's TTRS the insurance companies won't even look at me till I'm 21. And Yes it is APR Stage 3. Except 1 insurance would have me if I paid £13,500 a year for it.
My dads 1 Series is the 3L Petrol Twin Turbo at 302BHP standard chipped to between 380-410BHP with upgraded intercooler once again won't even look at insuring me until I'm 21.

Bad situation having parents with good cars when you pass can't get bloody insurance!

Well if it's APR Stage 3 then no wonder - that thing is pushing 600BHP. I'm jealous. It does make sense that they wouldn't want to insure a 17 year old on a car that does 0-60 in ~2.8 seconds but still.

Are you planning to just buy a smaller car and drive that for a while until your insurance comes down?

Moment of thought at the minute is...
College revision, work very hard in my part time job (waiter & barman in a pub) and sleep. No social life.

I will have that car before I'm 21 but I have to work for it like my parents worked for theirs!!
Plus once I've had my license longer insurance naturally drops! :D
