Not technically mine, but I've been using these for a while now. Alpine:

How do you like them?

I'm considering these as well.

To be honest at first I was going to return them as they didn't sound that great and the provided ear tips were really bad, but after reading some forums online about the Comply foam tips and purchasing them. It has made the B & W C5 much more comfortable to use and with the extra grip the Comply foam tips provide it sits in my ear much better causing no sound leakage.

Bass is great and does not over power the vocals, it really does sound good BUT there is some horror stories about the build quality of these however most of those were from the Series 1.

I would recommend them but make sure you get the Comply foam tips.

Suggestions for bluetooth over the ear headphones up to around $100?

Preferably something I can use to answer a call, nothing amazing.. just to be able to have like a 20 second conversation.

Need them for riding my bike. I would be wearing them over a beanie and/or a balaclava.. so noise cancellation is not something that matters to me.

I'm not terribly crazy about sound quality, but I would prefer something that isn't crappy, obviously.

Thanks in advance and sorry for not posting a photo of my headphones. I've already posted them in here before and I still have the same ones :)

A little over a week ago, the sound in my right ear-piece of my P5s went dead, to my inexpressible dismay, as I really do love these headphones.

A trip - a week later - to an authorised dealer revealed the fact that the cable had broken on the right ear-piece. Some tweaking and tender loving care then proceeded to take place, whereupon my headphones were handed back to me, in perfect condition, without it costing me a cent/penny/dime.

They recently "swapped" out mine. They were out of warranty but they made a "industry accommodation"!!! That day I bought a set of 805 Bookshelf speakers from them. B&W IS A Great company!!!!

These two are going to be your best bet:JLab Omni and Sony MDRZX550

What did you hate about them? I'm curious to know. They're not prefect.

Very Flimsy. Very thin sound!! Bad, just bad..
For the pricepoint, many other brands outshine the Alpines. It seems like they are using the Alpine brand name to sell these without any history in headphones. I have been using the B&W p5s for a while and thats what I will remain with.
Good Luck!

So, I got the JLabs today and tried them out. Have you ever tried them before?

If so, did you have any problems with the bluetooth connection?

I was riding with my phone in my pocket, because it's pretty cold out today and I kept losing connection.

Other than that, the sound quality seemed pretty good. It was traveling through two layers of a hat and a balaclava, so it probably sounds better than I think.

I'm not sure if the cold would mess up the connection. It was about 25º while I was riding.

I tried on some Bose Soundlink headphones and those were amazing. But they're also about $150 more than these. Life is so hard.

Where is that deal??

It was at a local Canadian store called The Source a few years back. Was browsing on their website when I saw the then clearance headphones and my local store had one left in stock. It was a lucky day!

In a coffee shop.

How do you find them? While I have no doubt that the audio quality would be excellent, I am curious to know how comfortable are they?

I have had these, and while I'm a big fan of B&W in general, I must say that I didn't find them as comfortable as I had hoped. However, I had the Series 1 version, and most sources seem to suggest that the Series 2 is a considerable improvement on Series 1.

They recently "swapped" out mine. They were out of warranty but they made a "industry accommodation"!!! That day I bought a set of 805 Bookshelf speakers from them. B&W IS A Great company!!!!

I have been very impressed by the professionalism of B&W anytime I have had dealings with them.

Purchased the JLab Omnis yesterday. Wasn't impressed with the bluetooth connection.

Took them back today and bought a pair of these:

Bose Soundlink on-ear bluetooth headphones in the white/blue (not my photo)

Hopefully these are better, since they're more than twice the price of the JLabs.

Probably should have just bought black, since I plan on wearing them while i'm going to be sweaty.

They look gorgeous; enjoy them.

And do, please, let us know how you find them - whether they are comfortable, what the build quality is like, and - above all - what your thoughts on the audio quality are…...
