My Girlfriend recently go me these.

Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 wireless.

Got an 11 hour flight from UK to LA next week and I'm looking forward to trying them out.

My two favorite headphones. :)
AKG K1000, for those who are not familiar with these classics...

Beautiful.

And how do you find them?

Thanks!

Quite spectacular, in short. They are demanding when it comes to amplification, and you will need to use time finding your preferred tilting angle. But when that is set they will give you a massive dynamic range, very clear, detailed and unforgiving sound, with a sound stage only matched by speakers.

They were developed in the late 70's / early 80's on a no-limit budget , been discontinued for more than 10 years and continue to be among the highest regarded headphones out there.

incredible..one day i will try these
You will be in for a blast. :)
I've enjoyed my pair for 9 years, and they are simply awesome in the right setup.

Very jealous man, what are you driving these with?
I currently just have an Stax SRD-7 Pro and a dull speaker amplifier. I used to own a matching Stax SRM-007t (tube energizer), but sold it a handful years back in preparation for an upgrade. Then sort of lost interest before I got to the next step.

Should probably sell it, as it's mostly collecting dust these days.

legend...wait for it...dary!!!

Wow. Thank you for your response and enjoy the experience of listening to music with those beautiful headphones.

Still feel guilty about splurging for it. So much so i haven't even opened the box yet.

They sound much better with the box open

No need for guilt. Personally, I love B&W; the P7s are extremely good.

Bravo. Enjoy them. I have both and think them excellent.

I've got the same. Just finished running in the P5's. Let us know what you think.

Ah, lovely. How do you find them?

I assume that yours are the second generation P5s; I have the first generation P5s and find them superb, easily the best headphones I have ever had.

What difference - or improvement - is there in the second generation
?

What lovely looking headphones; are they as good in audio terms as they look visually?

Great choice. I purchased P7's a few months ago and was the best purchase I've made in awhile.

Gonna open it when i get home.

They're solid headphones. A bit pricy for what you get though (sound quality).

I got them for 20% off

I would indeed say so.
They are highly ranked for their sound quality, probably in top 10 of all headphones ever produced. Not quite up there with the $7500 Sennheiser HE90, but at "just" 1/3 the price they keep up respectably.
