I wish I discovered you can now hide screens before I deleted all my folders! But I honestly don't think I will need folders anyway.

Almost every screenshot has the settings.app on the homescreen. Can't understand why, are you guys meddling with your settings that much? Really no other app that's more used to take it's place?

Maybe because default positions are attractive to many.

I have been thinking about the battery widget some more. Having the battery widget display the phone status is redundant. The battery widget on the phone should offer the user which Apple account synced battery devices to display individually or collectively.

On my phone, I want to see the watch battery status because the device is active on my wrist. I don’t need to see phone status displayed, when the phone is already showing the status. I also don’t need to see empty widget slots for my AirPods Pro’s and my Powerbeats Pro, if they are not actively being used. That causes the widget to take up more space then it really should.
Agree it needs to be customizable and/or dynamic. I have the same situation where I only have the phone and a smart battery case, so 3 are 4 are also useless to me.

The developer of the app will have to update it with the new widget functionality. "Old" widgets remain functional on the dedicated widget page most left on the homescreen.

yes, the "widget page" still is there
Is there a way to edit the "old" widgets on the widget page? I'm not seeing the option.

Since I have no use for App Library, I pretty much left it as it is and only removed apps I barely ever used from the home screen itself to make room for some widgets

organized folders on my own for the win

Can you share your wallpaper? It’s so nice.

I’m fully expecting to get calls from my parents once they update to iOS 14....

“What the heck are these big things on my screen? Take it off!”

I was worried about that, too, when my mom eventually updates, but the good news is that when you initially update, the phone looks exactly the same. Not to mention the fact that adding widgets isn’t intuitive at first. Pip will be another issue, as videos automatically enter pip when you go to the home screen...”why won’t my video stop playing!”

My weather widget is stuck on Cupertino for some reason. Also, if I wanted to use the App Library as my main home page, can that not be done yet?
