Nice, you gave me the idea to stack Shortcuts and create useful one's to play playlists I frequently play.View attachment 927413
Liking this setup. But I hope they can make the Shortcuts smaller to fit more within the widget size.

Almost every screenshot has the settings.app on the homescreen. Can't understand why, are you guys meddling with your settings that much? Really no other app that's more used to take it's place?
It's one of my most used apps! Even after I've stopped tinkering, I like to quickly get to wifi and bluetooth using long-press.Almost every screenshot has the settings.app on the homescreen. Agree it needs to be customizable and/or dynamic. I have the same situation where I only have the phone and a smart battery case, so 3 are 4 are also useless to me.I have been thinking about the battery widget some more. Having the battery widget display the phone status is redundant. The battery widget on the phone should offer the user which Apple account synced battery devices to display individually or collectively.
On my phone, I want to see the watch battery status because the device is active on my wrist. I don’t need to see phone status displayed, when the phone is already showing the status. I also don’t need to see empty widget slots for my AirPods Pro’s and my Powerbeats Pro, if they are not actively being used. That causes the widget to take up more space then it really should.
I'm kind of curious how did you make the shortcut for App Store updates?
Would like to know this also, or is there a way to create an Album for pics to use in it and set slideshow timers etc?Guys, is there a way to change the picture that stays in the Photos Widget?
Is there a way to edit the "old" widgets on the widget page? I'm not seeing the option. The developer of the app will have to update it with the new widget functionality. "Old" widgets remain functional on the dedicated widget page most left on the homescreen.

yes, the "widget page" still is there
Didn't see it before, but now I can see the edit button at the bottom while in wiggle mode.Is there a way to edit the "old" widgets on the widget page? I'm not seeing the option.
Oh, how weird! It definitely wasn't there before. But you're right, it's there now.Didn't see it before, but now I can see the edit button at the bottom while in wiggle mode.
Since I have no use for App Library, I pretty much left it as it is and only removed apps I barely ever used from the home screen itself to make room for some widgets
organized folders on my own for the win
I'll try to remember to do this on my secondary tonight.Another call for the clean install/stock/default homescreen layout if anyone has it to share. (I'm not on the beta to see for myself).
It changes on its own periodicallyWould like to know this also, or is there a way to create an Album for pics to use in it and set slideshow timers etc?

So I think this will inevitably change as more widgets become available but this is how it is right now.
I was worried about that, too, when my mom eventually updates, but the good news is that when you initially update, the phone looks exactly the same. Not to mention the fact that adding widgets isn’t intuitive at first. Pip will be another issue, as videos automatically enter pip when you go to the home screen...”why won’t my video stop playing!”I’m fully expecting to get calls from my parents once they update to iOS 14....
“What the heck are these big things on my screen? Take it off!”
Thank you , I didn't know that . This is a welcome change from all those blue icons !You have to tip in the app in order to get this feature. It also gives you access to more themes.
