How is your personal and work life “vastly” different because of the widgets?

That’s not what they were saying. They were saying that their personal and work phones have very different layouts and that they’re only posting a photo of their personal phone layout.

Maybe I am overlooking something, but where is the place to add new widgets? It used to be at the bottom of the widgets. Think it said edit. Not there for me.
I don't see it either. Some said they still saw it down there. I can only modify first person widgets by editing home screen.

Can anyone post the App Library and tell us if you have any control over which folders are there and the order beyond the top two or if it all controlled by the system.

You can't. Ios sets it for you, you can't rearrange them, rename them or even out apps into different suggested folders.

That is a massive fail. What is the purpose of hiding home screens if they can be folders in the App Library or something like that. My concept had been to create something called App Centers where each home screen was essentially a named group like the App Library but you have to us some customization: naming and organization.

Sure thing! Yeah you can't change the layout unfortunately.. maybe something they'll add in later versions.

Yeah, maybe it gets updated. Right now, in every category it shows you the 3 most uses apps, the 4th spot takes a folder icon. By clicking that, you see the other apps

I like that. And I came up with something very similar. But you could designate the 3 apps and which Home Screens were the folders. I don't care about designating the 3 apps, but if I could I would make each home screen on my phone a category, for 4-6 total besides my main home screen, and then hide them, have the main home screen or swipe over to access the folders that had the others. This method just doesn't make as much sense. Or give me control.

I’ve always had my home screen clean of no apps and just the dock. Are we able to keep the home screen free of apps in iOS 14 or no?

How does the Music Widget work? It seems to show recently played tracks (or albums?), but can you tap on them to start playing them, or it just opens the app? Do music control appear while a song is playing? I've seen the 2x2 and 2x4 options, what does the 4x4 option look like, if it exists...
