I agree with you. I think most people I know who just have apps populate on the screens when they install them (with zero effort at organizing) would benefit if they are given an option upon installing the update to remove all apps from the pages and instead, just organize them into the library. I think they should also have the library automatically be the main page if all other apps are removed.

What I see most people doing here (from the screenshots I've seen) is that they have a few widgets, a handful of frequently used apps, and then the library. For those of us with a ton of apps, I've found its super easy to just swipe down to search for an app instead of going into a folder and swiping a few times to get to it. Once more widgets are available on the main screens, this would also be a quick way to access frequently used apps.

Completely agree. We are on the same exact page.

I saw a video where user was able to put one widget on another and created a stacked widgets, but can you stack two different "piles" of widgets side by side? Let's say weather and news one pile and Calendar and Reminders on the other pile?

I just have trouble convincing myself that it would be worth it to spend four app blocks on the weather when that could mean.... four app blocks??

Personally I don't get the point of widgets on the home screen, besides wasting space and looking flashy. 🤷

Each to their own I guess lol :)

I love them so far, reason being is it gives me a quick at a glance view of things like the current temperature, battery levels etc..

With third party support coming from launch I should think that these will only get better.

Anyway to add Siri suggestions apps to smart stack? The rectangle with suggested apps?
I had trouble with that as well... It seems a little buggy right now. I'm sure it'll get fixed. I'd love that in a smart stack.

Agree. I have a watch for complications. I got over a hundred apps but where they are who knows. I pull down and search for what I need.

Yup, I am thinking all I need is a smart stack if it can accept that stack we are talking about. I don't any other need for any other widgets taking up space. Just a nice scroll wheel at the top of the screen.
