To get the section headers for lockinfo just use status bar headers from lockscreen themes that's all I did I will share if it's ok

I'm at work and not able to look up the specific line of code at the moment, but if you ssh in and search the string "176" you should come to a line that has something like "176&C"...change the "C" to a "F" and respring. That should do the trick. BTW, this line is USUALLY near the bottom of the html file. :D

Thanks Ken! I finally found it. I looked in every html file except the Clock one. Go figure. :rolleyes:

LS HDWeather Animations Issue

Thank you thank you thank you Schnedi and Norcal for this LS and tweak respectively! I just have a couple of questions/problems to sort out to make it perfect;

1: I've downloaded Tap2Unlock yet it doesn't seem to work. Is there another version that I should be using?

2: I also found it strange that the square and horizontal line at the bottom didn't appear in the LS.

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I absolutely LOVE this LS...thanks again Schnedi!

Here's the screenshot;

Had my iPhone 4 replaced at the genius bar today and I'm stuck with the boring iOS 4 SB and LS. Jailbraking in 5...4...3...2.....1.......

Love this Lock Screen. wish i could figure out how to adjust the location and change the wallpaper. I can't seem to open the theme.

Because the file ends in .theme, you need to remove that suffix in order to open and edit it on a computer. Do that and it will change to a regular folder you can open. Or you can always edit directly on the phone using iFile. I do both.

If you follow the link Gary provided, you'll see that the dev gave instructions in his replies to that thread on changing the location, right down to the line number (502) in the HTML file--it's basically the same as most others, change out the Yahoo code for your own. And the wallpaper changes out the same way as most others as well, just swap in a new LockBackground.jpg for your own file with the same name. (Though why he used jpg and nearly everyone else uses png, I can't answer.)

If you decide to change the font for another you already have, you'll need to edit the main.css file. He used Calibri. I replaced every instance of that font to "PhonepadTwo"--which for me is actually Geo Sans Light as set through Bytafont (for Dialer/Phone only) on my phone. I love this font for lockscreens and widgets, but it's too light for me to read for mail and such, so I don't have it set system-wide.

Color of the blue square is the background-color in "#white" just above "#whitebar" in the CSS as well. Current hex color code for that is #305460. Swapped mine out for the usual pink hex code color that matches the rest of my theme. And you'll need to provide your own minimalistic slider. I used the usual Ring Slider I found from here eons ago as it's still my favorite.

Here's the result. I still want to put a little more separation, just a few spaces, between the top date/time and the city/weather below the datebar, but otherwise I'm really liking this one. Might also like a version that doesn't have the clock image, just the simplicity of the stuff below.

Was able to get the .png.
What should I name it, and place it to have it between the different sections??
TIA! I really dig that look a lot

Thanks you for your help. I'm still learning all this. The weather i use the ending in the address right? everett-12799010 for example right?
I see you're not far from where I am. I was in your area this weekend on a friends track dirt bike riding.

No problem, we all start somewhere, and I'm still learning as I go along too.

I've tried that long code, and it doesn't work. The reliable way I've seen to find your code is to actually use Weather.com (which is still Yahoo weather, go figure). Enter your city. You may need to go to the extended forecast page to finally get the code--yours came up on the first hit though:

http://www.weather.com/weather/today/USWA0140

Everything behind the last "/" (forward slash) is your Yahoo weather location code. The code for US locations seems to start with US, then the two letter state code, then a four digit numeric code. In your case, your full code is USWA0140. (Mine is USWA0197, and no, we're not all that far apart. Except during traffic. LOL)

There's a new black version posted now! I just need to figure out where that second hand is located and turn it to pink to match the rest. :D

(Edited to add: DAMN. I can't find where to change the color of the second hand, suspect it's in that mess of javascript. If anyone has access to post on MacThemes--they're still not taking registrations--I'd appreciate if someone asked where in the code to alter this one. Or if someone here has an answer, please share it!)

I downloaded iFile. So much easier to use than cyberduck. Trying to understand how to change the font and background photo now. then I'll work on changing the color of the block. I want mine pink as well. Girls love their pink!
I saw the black version too (trying to find out how to do more editing, i do wish they'd open up macthemes to more users)

This *should* work; saved directly from the PSD with no changes--though with the caveat that I haven't tried it in an actual widget. Make sure to save it as a .png, not as a .jpg, name it according to the conventions your widget uses for overlays, etc. The second image is an example of what happens when the overlay.png is simply layered over one of my regular walls, a test image to see if the png worked without using the full PSD. :D

I keep hearing that GIMP is a good free sub for Photoshop; dunno if it handles layers, but it may be worth looking into so you can at least make walls like these more easily.

Thanks so much!! It works great =)
