My Mighty Mouse has been getting more and more clogged over time. I've tried the usual tricks to clear out the rollerball but I'm having to do it more frequently so I plumped for one of these...

A Logitech V470.

So far so good. Works a treat and matches nicely with my iMac. I must admit, it's a lot smaller and more bulbous in real life and if I'd seen one in the shop I wouldn't have given it a second glance. But it fits nicely in the hand and works perfectly on bluetooth with no software. Got it nice and cheap from an Amazon re-seller too. About £16 all-in.

Nice. I bought the MX1000 when it first came out. Love Logitech mice, especially those nice ergonomic ones.

Whilst I don't see any use for it either, that doesn't matter. It wasn't your purchase.

Thank you for your understanding.

Wow guys, being pissed because someone bought a novelty knife that cost a lot is not a smart move on your part. Jealousy is horrible, and just because he has all this money, doesn't mean you should bash him... Maybe his dad collects Swiss Army Knives and this is the ultimate one to have, don't be so quick to judge...

Actually he does! My dad is an outdoor man plus he likes to do lots of DIY stuff. This giant Swiss Knife will look great as a display in his office, IMO.

Agree.

Tho I'm still kinda curious as to why he did it, hope he'll come back and post about it / wasn't driven away by some of the comments here...

Oh no, I'm not taken aback at all. We live in a world of free speech, so I am open to all comments. :)

I'm sure I've made enough stupid purchases to buy five of those knives. More power to you man.
:D

fanbrain,

I am keeping an eye on your thread over at AVS it is looking great. I can't decide between the AE3000 or the 1080 UB. Nice purchases :)

Feel free to leave some feedback over there. I'm beginning to feel alone.

The 3000 was the obvious choice for me for two reasons. One, I can get it at cost. Two, the three zoom memories makes it easy to switch between aspect ratios for my CIH setup.

I will leave some feedback there (of course) when it's done, then I'll post in the MacRumors 'post your home theater thread'.
