Seeing that she is in Canada, I would say Futureshop (which is Best Buy)

Try looking at a Best Buy, they had a great deal on Christmas blu-ray sets!

Thanks ipodtoucher that's correct. I got it at Futreshop, regular price is $67.99 and at BestBuy regular price is $69.99 and no sale here. Have a look at Best Buy in the States, they usually have even better deals than what we have here.

I could never walk out of Starbucks withoug a bag a "Christmas Blend" for myself. You are a strong soul..............

Normally I'd agree, but I just bought a half pound of Dunkin Donuts coffee that will take a little while to go through. It'll be the first and last time I ever buy their coffee again. :x

Trying to round out my home theater system. I started upgrading earlier this year with the purchase of a Samsung 46" LCD HDTV, so I figured it's about time to finish it :)

I bought a Panasonic DMP-BD35K Blu-Ray player, and a Polk PSW10 powered 10" sub from Amazon. After reading a bunch of reviews, it looks like it's the perfect combo of size and power to give me what I need, without pissing off my neighbors!

Hopefully it'll all come in this week. Now I just need some Blu-Ray discs...

Anyone else tend to buy much more for themselves during the holidays?

I still buy presents for people, but with all the good deals its hard not to buy something for yourself.

See above post #830 ;)

That's not all I bought for myself either...I wouldn't call myself selfish though, I did buy some pretty great gifts for other people. Mom and Dad are getting an Apple TV after all!

Typically never. First, my parents like to give me lots and buying everything for myself makes it harder to tell them what I want. Second, I'd rather spend my pennies on others. This year however I have bought a few DVDs for myself and a stuffed animal (don't ask) and a new camera lens.

Forum Recon 156. Burton Freestyle Bindings. DC Scout Boa boots.

Is that the 07/08 Recon? It's soooo nice looking, great board too from what I've heard. I'm riding an 07/08 Burton Seven this season, picked it up in the sale back in March, never been ridden either!

Where you riding?

Just picked up the Microsoft Arc. So far no complaints, and as an added bonus it really does complement the macbook

I have to agree that is one sharp looking mouse. But how's the curve? That arch looks a bit severe to me..

I couldnt really test it, but the MacBook Pro boots twice as fast, as the HDD (7200) version..

It's only 80GB though! You're sacrificing so much just to get slightly faster read times. Not really worth it IMO, especially considering the ridiculous premium you pay for one of these things.
